Having trouble with the second act. First and third are pretty much hammered out.
Posted. But I'm going to temporarily add a few scenes from the previous episode that set up the Trill rebellion (or actually the Symbiont rebellion - the Trills just get to do the fighting and the dying.)

'Rebel scum' brings the Maquis to my mind. Or renegade Klingons or some terrorist movement bent on the destruction of the Federation. Just ruminating, I suppose.

I think I just might have something to contribute.
It's taking shape slowly, and I'm trying hard to get the clunkiness out of it.
Though it is literally only the second fan fic I have ever written (and the first one was only 100 words long), so I hope I don't embarrass myself too terribly.

If you fancy putting in an entry based around either of those then by all means feel free, this is as open a field as possible for any sorts of stories.
You'll find the readers and writers here very supportive, if you want help or constructive criticism in developing ideas or improving your writing then just ask for it. We only get better at something by doing it over and over again, just make sure you always enjoy it though as that's what fanfic should always be about.

The setup for the Symbiont Rebellion occurs in Episode 23, so I temporarily added those three setup scenes to the beginning of Ep 24.

I'm not going to be in on this challenge either, I'm afraid. Besides RL goings-on, I just can't wrangle that second act into submission. Hopefully, I can recycle the idea later.
