I'll miss him, he's been enjoyable in the role. I would've been surprised to see him leave any later than the end of Series, but, it's a bummer nonetheless that he's only got the 2 Specials left (It'd be cool if the Anniversary Special is a 3-Parter: Name of The Doctor/Anniversary Special/Xmas Special)

What, at Xmas again? Let's hope they can get another good one- remember he doesn't have to be white, or under 30, or male. Though obviously the best female option has already played the part - I mean Joanna Lovely, er, Lumley. Though Alex Kingston would have worked too...

That should probably have said when the new Doctor arrives. When the Doctor leaves that's more of a sadness, but when we meet the new doctor, I always see the "this is the best doctor ever" posts. The best example was when Tennant was in the prime of his run, people loved him. Now, I get the sense he's not fondly remembered. And let's not count how many instances there's been of bashing RTD because of Moffat lately.
Shitty news, still not decided if 11th beats 10th but he' still been a great Doctor and will be sorry to see him go. I wonder if Stephen going to following soon as well or will he stay on to ride out 12.
Sad to see Matt depart, but I guess all things must have an ending (even though the Doctor hates endings). Matt Smith was fantastic from the beginning and was my favourite Doctor, really a tough act to follow.

Honestly I think the last half of season 7 has felt like an end to the 11th doctor. He went to Trenzalore and overall it's felt like the end.
