Short hair and protruding ears? Yeah I see it.
The line is "You turned up on my door step with a new haircut and a suit".
The couldn't get Ecclestone and now Smith will play both 9 and 11... the audience won't notice.
^ That's just how good Smith is! He'll play both!
And oddly enough, he kept his 11 boots..!
Nope, he did a terrible 9 impression in the latest episode....I mean so bad it'll make you cringe and wish, despite the reference to a past doctor, it didn't happen at all.
His 10 wasn't GREAT but at least it didn't make him want to smack him
Smith's "9 impression" consisted of saying "fantastic" is a bad attempt of Eccleston's accent. Of course, he was at the playing evil Cyber-Doctor, so maybe that had something to do with it. Whatever, I don't view it as quite the catastrophe you do.
There are rumors that there will be some sort of Doctor Who announcement at tonight's BAFTAs.
If there is an announcement, it may have nothing to do with Matt Smith and series 8. However, I couldn't think of a better thread where this could go.
Ed Russel said there is no major announcement tonight, just a BAFTA tribute.
Doctor Who Onlines Source is 6 people who heard it on the radio. Hilarious.
DWO are a total joke. They're the ones who hyped up a "major announcement" not related to the current TV series a while back, which never arrived. And years ago claimed to have exclusive news of lost episodes being recovered that weren't.
Moffat and jlc were redcarpeted on the way in by bbc news24 - confirmed the tributr, some kind of sketch (mini-ep?)
that good news and yes season 8 is a go.
Moffat says "this is definite" - logically proof that it's not happening, surely? (c.f. "the Doctor definitely dies" etc)
I find this more interesting for what it doesn't say.
Number of episodes. Split or no split. When it will start.
Oh and Moffat and JLC are confirmed as returning but not what's his name. Big chin. Used to have floppy hair.
More photos from Matt's new movie
And the award for fittest actor to portray the Doctor is....
Is he using a horse shoe as a belt buckle? Can't wait for that fashion trend to catch on.
Oy! Horseshoes are cool!
Add little points to his ears and he could play a Vulcan or a Romulan. . Wouldn't the horsehoe be a little uncomfortable? I don't care for the jacket. Excuse me while I drool
Smith looks remarkably like Russell Tovey in one of those pictures.
I'm surprised we don't see Matt Smith shirtless more often to please the appropriate fan bases. Yes it's a family show, but... Them's good show abs.
