It wasn't meant to tie-in into the sequels. "Second Renaissance" was just the back story we hadn't seen yet. As mentioned Machine City was the only thing shown.

I have an idea for a prequel story that shows the orgin of Morpheus and his relationship with the first "neo" as alluded to in the 1st Matrix (the one who was there "at the beginning"). Maybe i should try to write it?

I think the story ended with Revolutions. And while there were some crappy scenes, I don't think the sequels were quite as terrible as people remember them. But the point is, the story was brought to a close with

It would probably help your case if the video's title didn't clearly state that it was from some Indian film called Endhiran that looks very similar to, but isn't, the Matrix.
