MASSIVE Explosion in Beirut, Lebanon?!?

Not the largest blast this century.
Chelyabinsk comes in at 26-33 Hiroshima bombs...less than the 2011 Cordon Caulle eruption (70 times-) That volcano was also set off by the Lebu shock of the 1960 Valdivia quake (20,000) about double the energy of Typhoon Tip (perhaps)

Sunlight gives us 1900 Hiroshima bombs worth of energy every second.

A less powerful explosion took place at a gas station in Volgograd 8-11-20
Ridiculousness episode XCVII (Masters of Mean) had a car flying hundreds of feet from a blast.
