You can beat the game with only Joker and EDI surviving. It depends on loyalty, upgrades, and the decisions you make during the final mission, but it's so improbable that you'd actively have to try to fail in order to achieve it.Wow, really? Everyone?
You'll see in time.I take it my decision to tell The Illusive Man to stuff it at the end will play a role in ME3?
This just further illustrates how pointless Thane really was in ME2. He brings nothing to the table.Me, I lost Thane. I sent him through the vents because he seemed really awesome in the vents during the mission where I recruited him and I didn't think he'd have too much trouble opening a door. My mistake.![]()
I got the soundtrack recently and was kind of disappointed that everything between the crash landing and and the run for the Normandy is missing from it. "Suicide Mission" is actually the end credits music. I may end up getting those mini-soundtracks off iTunes that include all the stuff missing from the original one and cobble together a complete one. Already rearranged the original soundtrack's tracks into chronological order (hate when soundtracks mix stuff up) and burned them to a CD for car listening.Oh, and I'd once again like to point out just how much I love the Suicide Mission track.

What's "chronological order" in a non-linear game?Already rearranged the original soundtrack's tracks into chronological order (hate when soundtracks mix stuff up) and burned them to a CD for car listening.![]()
Your options (besides deleting stuff) are to either buy a hard drive (the 4 GB of space is flash memory built into the console, not an actual HDD; you can use both simultaneously) or a USB stick that's hopefully good enough for the Xbox to bless it.I was about to download some content but I literally do not have enough space on my 4 gb hard drive. What are my options?
I can't imagine how someone would not realize they needed an engineer to send through the vents. Now, the biotic...But yeah, I think most people probably lost some people in the vents during their first playthrough. I sent Jacob simply because he volunteered, and because it sounded like an easy task any of the team could have accomplished.

I dunno. Either I wasn't paying attention or they didn't do a good enough job of emphasizing that someone like Tali or Legion should have done it. The biotic task was really obvious, though. Why else did I bring Jack and Samara if I wasn't going to use their uber-biotics?I can't imagine how someone would not realize they needed an engineer to send through the vents. A worthwhile endeavour if ever there was one.You know there is this video if you want the full affect of the awesomeness
Yeah, somebody managed to do a video for the whole suicide mission score.
The thing is that, unlike the selection for fire-team leader, they limited who you could choose to go through the vents, so I assumed that all the options available had the necessary tech experience to open the door. Of all the options available, Thane seemed like the most capable guy when it came to navigating vents, Tali and Legion didn't even come to mind.I can't imagine how someone would not realize they needed an engineer to send through the vents. Yeah, I was tempted to reload as I liked Thane as a character, but I stuck with it and it added extra weight to all the decisions that came after. It made the suicide mission more meaningful knowing that I had lost someone along the way because of a bad call I made.I have to say though, I totally regret reloading and sending Tali in instead. One of the defining things about the ME series is owning your decisions, good, bad or indifferent and I caved into my desire for my main Shep to have everyone survive. A bit silly in retrospect, considering how things play out in ME3.
That's a little surprising as normally how things play out is that after the IFF mission you go down to the AI core, activate Legion and go through his initial dialogue, then immediately talk to him again and he'll bestow his loyalty mission. The game will then allow you enough time do it and THEN the crew gets abducted afterwards. Sounds like maybe you didn't talk to him again right after activating him? I dunno. After looking at that chart, I realized my suicide run wasn't perfect. I did lose half the Normandy crew. Dr. Chakwas got upset that I didn't come sooner. This is because I did Legion's loyalty mission after opening the Omega 4 relay. Oh well, I'm guessing that won't have a significant impact in ME3.
