Mary Tamm has died

Age 62 after a long battle with cancer.

Absolutely stunned by this - another lost so young and so soon after Nick, Lis & Caroline.

She will be missed. Thankfully we will get to hear her again with Tom next January in the new Big Finish stories.

This is shocking and very sad - 62 is way, way too young. My earliest memory of Who is from the Romana I era. Looking back at that season recently on iPlayer, I found her portrayal of the character to be robust and likeable. She'll be missed.
