Marvel Studios may be planning more MCU for the small screen

His comments were more mild than I expected. He wants to do his own thing. I think there's more to it because he could still be a script doctor or a consultant or something like that without sucking up his time too much. So I was hoping time would cool passions and he'd be willing to do more but, if that's true, it certainly hasn't happened yet.

^I don't know about "seems likely." This is just an uncorroborated rumor from a single source at the moment. It won't seem likely unless we hear from other sources supporting it.

True, maybe I should have used 'possible' or 'rumoured'.

I still think he's a bit 'fantastic' for Marvel TV, if for no other reason, for the FX budget...

A Captain Britain show would be great. I'd been hoping we would see him, although it will kind of suck that he won't have his sister if the show gets made. Hopefully they'd have Meggan, at least, and seeing some of the british people like Pete Wisdon, Union Jack or Spitfire would be cool.

As an Anglophile I would love to see the UK side of Marvel worked into the MCU, but this doesn't seem like the most reliable source. I find it a little hard to believe that an artist working on a poster would be the one to make an announcement this big.
I hope if they do bring the UK side that they would work with one of the British TV stations like BBC or ITV to really bring in that UK connection.

That may not be a great idea.

I heard a story a few years back about the BBC talking to Joss Whedon about doing a Buffy spinoff featuring Giles in the U.K. - Whedon (who was both showrunning and doing much of the writing on two shows simultaneously) wanted a few sample scripts. The deal fell through several months later, when the BBC 'couldn't get the sample scripts together'.

Blade and Moon Knight are both no-doubters IMO, but I'm not sure if the effects-reliant Ghost Rider would work as well on the small screen.

I think The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, and Supergirl have proven that it's more than possible to make a TV show with lengthy FX sequences. And those are shows with seasons of 20-plus episodes; Netflix seasons are only 13 episodes.

If they did Ghost Rider, they would definitely have to limit how much screen time the character spent transformed. I don't think it would be totally impossible, I see some pretty impressive stuff on a weekly basis on shows like Once Upon A Time, The Berlanti superhero shows, and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
If this is true I do have to wonder what it would mean for the Phase 1 Defenders shows and The Punisher? I guess it's possible, but I find it a little hard to believe that Netflix would do 9 concurrent Marvel shows. I don't know if I've ever seen a Network do that many shows in one franchise at the same time.

It'd be similar to the MCU movies, where we only get 2 or 3 a year, and we just have to wait for the other characters.

I'm all for shows for both Moon Knight and Ghost Rider. I'm not too familiar with Moon Knight aside from one Spider-Man storyline but he always seemed interesting (and beyond Marvel's answer to Batman). I've always been intrigued by Ghost Rider but I avoided the movies because of the bad reviews and Nicholas Cage, so it's good to know the character might be redeemed.

I read recently that Wesley Snipes is interested in reprising the role of Blade, so this might be what he'll be doing.

Well, they could follow Daredevil's lead and not have Ghost Rider assume his classic look until the final act of the final episode... ;)

Or he could obey helmet laws...that'd be a real money-saver.

They could have him change every episode at the bottom of the hour and about 10 minutes before the end!
