I just heard about this on the radio. Then I came across reference to the fact that he had written and edited for Marvel comics. I followed the trail that extra step to discover that he had written the Starfleet Academy comics, which I always see a lot of praise for by people who read the series. I'm glad he's okay, comic writer or not.
