I guess it started waaaaay back in the late 80's when the geniuses of Marvel decided to make the X-Men fake their deaths and put them in Australia. They really haven't entirely recovered from that segregation, no matter how many crossover events that were attempted. The most blatant being House Of M. Plus, there are enough character's in the Mutant-verse (dispite House of M's mustant depopulation attempt) to have a universe of its own. Marvel's mutants don't seem to fit in anymore, in my opinion. Anyone else agree?
