Marvel/Netflix Daredevil Season 1

I think going for a thread for each episode would get way to cluttered, especially if we keep going on for multiple seasons of the shows. If we're not careful we could end up with 52 threads just devoted to the four Marvel shows (that is assuming each series does 13 episode seasons).

I get the impression it's not just that Hell's Kitchen was physically damaged, but that all of New York City was economically devastated by the aftermath of the battle, and that's allowed organized crime to regain control of much of the city.

That makes sense to me. Gives each of the Defenders a "territory" of sorts to, well, defend.

I like the look of the red costume, at least what we can see in the video. I liked the costume in the Affleck Daredevil as well, but this is probably just as good. hopefully its not just something he wears in the last minute of the last episode.

I'm gonna avoid looking at the costume. I'll be graduall binge watching this weekend and into next week so I'd rather see it for myself onscreen (even if it does turn out to be 5 seconds at the end of the last episosde, we'll see)

I like the look of the costume. It is pretty different from what we see in the comics, but it's still recognizably Daredevil, and fits perfectly into the more grounded feel they seem to be going for here.

watched the first three episodes. i'm impressed. certainly more compelling than Agents of SHIELD.

About 1.5 episodes in, and really enjoying it. Matt, Foggy, and Karen are all quite charming and well-acted. The action is perhaps not as great as i'm used to with Arrow, but still decent, and I'm hoping it'll improve as Matt progresses.

EDIT: Just got to the end of ep2. Wow, that was an impressive shot.

I watched the first two episodes. This is REALLY well done. The acting is great and the tone and pacing are fantastic.

Just finished episode 3. That bit near the end, ooooof!! Not a sceneto watch with the kiddies!

Enjoying it, good stuff. I've never really read Daredevil comics so my main knowledge comes from the 2003 movie (Which I do like btw, esp the Directors Cut)

It's interesting that three episodes in we haven't really been given much explanation for how Matt can "see" etc. I presume this will be explored more as the show goes on, we'll see. That's it for tonight, I'll be watching some more tomorrow.
