Marvel films: Is She-Hulk a possibility?

Oh god no. Just, no. Not even remotely. The movie they wanted to make years ago with the woman from Red sonja as She-Hulk would have been a better idea. She-Hulk is no more a psychotic, murderous, whiny moron than Wonder Woman is, so with that in mind she definitely wouldn't work with what we've seen from Kelly when it comes to superheroes.

Based on the Wonder Woman pilot, the character Kelly should write for is Typhoid Mary. A violent psychopath who has multiple personalities, none of them particularly heroic but with a definite taste for violence, matches his Wonder Woman story perfectly.

Seriously though, She-Hulk, if she ever got a show, needs a good writer who can balance humor with serious stuff. Something more like GotG than Daredevil in tone. A bit more serious could work, but by that I mean Captain America or Iron Man level of seriousness. David E. Kelly isn't the guy, and should never be allowed near a superhero again.

Have you read the Dan Slott She-Hulk series?

Best known for Dan Slott's total internet meltdown which persists to this day.

Who would have known that arguing some vague obscure piece of comic book jargon would turn someone into a walking asshole.

This, not Wonder Woman, is the character for a David E Kelley series.

Network pitch: "Ally McBeal becomes a green-skinned Wonder Woman in her off-hours. She has to juggle & maintain both lives, (try to) keep them separate, maybe find love, and not let the short temper she shares with her infamous cousin become her fatal flaw as well."

What happened with Dan Slott?
As for a She-Hulk MCU production, at this point I'm not going to rule anything out.
I've never actually seen her in anything so I can't judge her acting skills, but in terms of appearance, I could see Gina Carano as a pretty good match for the character.

He's been in a few fights with idiots on Twitter who can't accept Spider-Man being anything other than white. I wouldn't call it a meltdown by any stretch of the imagination. It was back when there were rumors that Marvel may not cast a white guy to play the MCU Spider-Man.

Also stalking people on twitter (including several women) for not liking Superior Spider-Man, getting banned from most of the sites and blogs that review his work for insulting posters, etc. Most of the behaviors originates during his time on She-Hulk, apparently he was on the losing side of a few internet keyboard debates and being a normal well adjusted individual he wrote them into the comic so he could make fun of them.

Yes. Several times, just like I've read every other She-Hulk ongoing a bunch (she is my favorite Marvel character). It had some flaws (the Starfox arc was pretty messed up), but was fairly solid (although I still like Sensational she-Hulk a bit bettewr, especially Byrne's run). Dan Slott's She-Hulk was nothing like David E. Kelly's Wonder Woman. She-Hulk didn't murder people, and she wasn't a borderline psycho. So, yeah, unless you're trying to say that David E. Kelly is actually Dan Slott under a pseudonym, I don't know why you'd connect Dan Slott's She-Hulk run to an idiotic hack like Kelly who wrote probably the worst Wonder Woman thing ever.

Not really. Even afterwards she was mostly a sexist caricature used by male artists to justify drawing cheesecake and character-wise she was mostly known for who she was sleeping with. Chuck Austen having her with Juggernaut with the epitome of this. Goyer's comments about her in the context of her comic book history from everything up to the beginning of the 00s are more right than wrong.

I see. Sounds like he can't take criticism. It's always a shame when good writers are idiots.

Because Dan Slott's She-Hulk run was a comedy-drama about the legal profession with a female protagonist and David E. Kelley has written a number of critically acclaimed comedy-dramas about the legal profession, including at least two (Ally McBeal and Harry's Law) with female protagonists.

I guess you've never watched anything Kelley did other than the failed WW pilot?

If anyone would like to enjoy some great She-hulk cinema, here you go:

You're welcome.

This is the mock-up poster for the previous attemp:

Kirk, I think medically you may need to watch a couple seasons of Ally McBeal to get your animus and anima into a less antagonistic balance.

Endless reruns of Ally McBeal made me the man I am today. :D

I had a shorter, simpler path to Man-Hood...one viewing of The Flockheart in "Birdcage".

Words do not exist

On-Thread

She-Hulk sounds like a possibility for a Movie, but maybe not as a "Stand-Alone" character...maybe a female-centered cast of Superheros as a premise?

Her transformation should probably be triggered by by something similar to that of the Hulk (continuity of Power?) maybe by some sort of sensing of trouble or need?

As for casting, why not one of the woman from "Sin City"?

Rosario Dawson?

Jennifer Lawrence from the Games of Hunger and Remake?

One of the Kardasians?

Rosario is in Daredevil as Night-Nurse. Night Nurse has been conflated with a different character (Clare Temple) who was married to Black Goliath and dated Like Cage Powerman which means that she is likely to be a bridging character between the approaching different Marvel Netflix collaborations and Daredevil.

Ah, well then...

Plus, for the Marvel Young Youth market, Hulk, Jr. and Hulquette...

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez?

(You're just making shit up ?)

Hulkling looks like a Hulk, but he's actually the teenage son of Captain Marvel and some random Skrull princess. Nothing to do with Gamma Radiation and so very completely homosexual. Can Justin play gay with a straight face?

Skaar Son of Hulk (think Conan) is a grey Hulk with Long hair and a sword. Hulk screwed an alien princess and this came out. Skaar is in Agents of S.M.A.S.H. (the current animated series) but no one has mentioned that his father might be Hulk.

Lyra (She Hulk). Lyra's mum, a warrior Queen (buff Tina Turner from Mad Max, but who can juggle elephants) from a dystopian femizonian future, beat the Hulk up, stuck a syringe into his big green sack, and knocked herself up with a hulk baby, who is a red headed warrior princess in the future, unless she has sometimes time travels into the past to kick her dad around.

Hulk had a baby with Betty (in the 80s). And I do mean Hulk. Betty had some sexual encounters with the Grey Hulk, but their horrifically deformed baby died during childbirth, but it was seriously hinted that the government faked the stillbirth and took the kid. Marvel teased us that at least once saying that the baby is back, but they are liars.

I think a Dan Slott style She-Hulk series would work. It would be a huge crossover vehicle just like the comic was. My favorite is still the issue where Spider-man sued Jameson for libel.
