MARVEL direct to video animation films...

I am wondering why they haven't been making any! The last one was released in 2016 about the Hulk. Have any of you heard anything?

I'm not complaining. The Marvel animated movies tended to be subpar compared to the DC animated movies.

That said, while it's not direct-to-video, I am looking forward to the Miles Morales Spider-Man movie.

The Lionsgate ones were pretty good. All the ones since them haven't been as good. I would love to see Marvel dtvs able to give DC ones a run for their money again.

I'd have liked to see more of the Marvel anime series from a few years back. I quite liked the Iron Man and X-Men series, at least.

Put me down as one of the people who liked the "Hullk vs" movies while the rest have generally been a bit sub par. However with DC flagging, I.M.O, atm I would also like to see them come and have another go. Maybe do a series based on Exiles, Mutant X or even the Ultimate Universe to test the water. A stand alone series to try things out.

I have to admit, I am a bit surprised Marvel didn't put more effort into their animated DTV movies. I watched and enjoyed most of them, although I don't think they ever reached the same quality as DC's. They did release Hulk: Where Monsters Dwell but it didn't get much attention.

The problem with Marvel Animation is that the guy in charge of the TV Division (Jeph Loeb) doesn't think highly of cartoons in the first place. If they chose to separate them and make someone else the head of Marvel Animation we'd be getting more stuff like the Earth's Mightiest Heroes show from 2010.

I've only seen Hulk Vs. and that was because it was a prequel to Wolverine And The X-Men. I found that it was so-so.

Of course I would like to see a Marvel DTV that wraps up the cliff-hanger that the 1994 Spider-Man series ended on (and done in the same style as the 1994 series).
