What grade would you give the Marvel Cinematic Universe? (Ever-Changing Question)

3 more months until avengers 5 also known as avengers doomsday comes out

which brings me to say i wonder if avengers 5 along with the mcu spider man 4 aka mcu spider man brand new day will get record breaking nominations at the upper class award shows like the oscars

if black panther can get recorded breaking nomiations at the oscars

then so can avengers 5 and spider man 4
 
I can almost guarantee you that will not happen, especially as a lot of the high brow Hollywood crowd has really been making a point to rip on superhero movies every chance they get. The high brow crowd has always hated genre movies and have only nominated genre movies when it was such a huge phenomenon like Black Panther, or when one of their own decided to make a genre movie.
 
Puck News writer Matt Belloni said on his podcast that every actor in the X-Men cast has been given the option of making appearances in other MCU films.

After reading a few articles about this topic online, it seemed quite tabloid-like to me. I don’t think gossip has a place on this platform, so I deleted it. From now on, I won’t share anything about Jeff, and even if I do share something, it won’t be about Indé Navarrette or any other actors she might target.

You’re doing ‘Nova,’ which is a project that a lot of people, myself included, have wanted for a very long time. Is there anything you can say about what drew you to that project? What makes you excited to take that character on?

I don’t know if I can say anything about anything I’m doing with Marvel. But I will say, I love Nova. I love Rich Rider. However we expand the cosmic side of the MCU will be really cool.

Do you have a favorite Richard Rider story? Mine’s ‘Annihilation,’ which I think is just incredible.

‘Annihilation’ is, I mean, I guess that’s the go-to, right? But the character spans a lot of generations, and I think maybe that’s why it’s taken some time to get him to the screen, is figuring out, where do you start that story? Do you start him on Earth? Do you start in space, as part of the Nova Corps? Whoever does it, I hope they do a good job.

The Nova Corps obviously kind of got wiped out (in ‘Infinity War’), so that’s something that a story is going to have to reckon with, I’m sure.

Decided to start preparing for Visionquest and doing a rewatch of Wandavision. I haven't seen this series since 2021, and considering Agatha All Along was something I saw last year and it still somewhat feels fresh, it will be interesting to see what other things I can pick up from this series. Really excited for Visionquest though, finding out it is the third part of this trilogy.

I'm planning to rewatch both series soon, too. Along with Loki, easily the best MCU Disney+ series.

My planned prep for D-Day is going to consist of just Infinitity War and Endgame. I thought about adding other stuff in, but I don't want to inundate the Missus with too much MCU before December 18.

I just saw season 1 of Loki. Never got around to season 2. Might finally finish it. I subscribed to Disney+ and all of a sudden there are all these series that I either want to watch or rewatch. I'm starting to think the subscription has already paid for itself.
 
I started my VisionQuest prep 2 months ago, and, barring any delays, will finish the last 3 episodes of Agatha All Along (for the first time) on Tuesday Oct. 13th.

Marvel slop production line clearly doing well then.
 
I'm preparing for 'Avengers Secret Wars' since that will be the biggest movie of them all. I will try to get through half of the marvel movies before Doomsday and the other half next year. I'm doing the timeline re-watch. Started with Captain America today and then Captain Marvel.

Captain America was one of those films I found a bit cheesy and not high on my list but damn is it a fun action movie. It's got a different sensibility to it that I didn't appreciate before, I guess because I was jaded with that kind of film but it's refreshing to me now compared to what we get today.
