I hate it when "Actor X says they'd be open to playing Y" is passed off as some kind of genuine news story. "Someone said yes when asked if they'd like a paying job" is hardly a revelation. And people's responses to hypotheticals mean nothing.
It creates an eye-catching headline for the article.
That's the problem. It's not news, it's clickbait. The 24-hour news cycle demands content, so they spit out meaningless noise and pretend it's a story.
I misread that as Sophie Turner, which would've been a curious turn.

They do the same thing at theater we go to, which is why I refuse to buy tickets online, unless it's something huge that my mom and I both really want to see and I want to make sure I'm able to get tickets.
I'm surprised it took this long with all of the movies and shows she's been popping up in.
But Sadie is rumored to play the same redhead that Sophie has already played.

I thought it was already confirmed that she would be playing Jean Grey.
Nope and as already discussed just, a number of us don't want that.
Jean Grey though does make the most sense if they have plans to use the actor through several movies. A villain I think would be hard to justify in that many movies unless she is going to be the next Thanos or Loki type of arch villain.
...or she's in just one movie.
