What grade would you give the Marvel Cinematic Universe? (Ever-Changing Question)

I've finally made it through the entirety of Daredevil, and it's official: Matt Murdock and his friends are now firmly entrenched on my list of Favorite MCU characters, and 'Karedevil' is now my top Favorite MCU relationship (which means that I'm really excited to see them reconcile in Born Again Season 2, even though it'll be a bit yet before I get to).

And he got to take the stage at an awards show without having the n-word screamed at him for once, which is also nice!
I'm pretty sure that is not a common thing he has had to face at awards shows. Bafta really fucked up or maybe it was the BBC. I am not sure who exactly has the most power in that situation.

It was a planning incident. Apparently John Davidson specifically requested not to have microphones placed near him and they did it anyway.

It makes me wonder if who he requested this from didn't have his request sent down to the people who seated him. I know some believe in conspiracy ideas that it was all done for ratings but I do think incompetence is sometimes the most likely option for something going wrong. Also for this to improve the ratings one needs to create the controversy before the show starts thus making people expect something controversial to happen while watching so people then watch to see if something happens. All the attention they get from this is post-show and none of it was good. I know their is this idea that their is no such thing as bad publicity but I am not so sure about that.

Maybe with the Oscar the MCU will get smart and resurrect Killmonger.

No, that would be an asinine idea completely ignoring the point of Killmonger's campaign, its contrast to T'Challa, and why said campaign was doomed to fail.

T'Challa opposing Killmonger and his brand of "justice" served to lift his character above the urge for revenge, yet shined a light on issues he previously ignored. Resurrecting Killmonger would ruin the cost and impact of the message, and for no good reason. Let good villains remain dead...tall order for some superhero stories, but it can be done.

With Jordan's rise as a star, I'm actually inclined to think Secret Wars might bring him back as T'Challa from another part of the multiverse.

I would love to see that. IMO Jordan carried the first Black Panther film. Not MCU related but I also wanted to see that story he might have done were he played one of the Black Superman characters from the comics. I was looking forward to that show but I guess it will never happen.

That wasn't something the guy did on purpose though, he has Tourette's and can't control it.

I hadn't heard about that part of, so yeah that probably wasn't the best idea on the organizers part.

Yeah, and they already established that he's on the astral plane, so if they really want to bring him back, they could just have Shuri

I don't see why he'd have to be T'Challa, he could just be from a universe where N'Jadaka was raised in Wakanda and became Black Panther instead of T'Challa.

The whole thing at the Bafta awards also exposed just how ignorant so many people are when it comes to Tourette's syndrome and mental illness in general. It pissed me off with some of the things said about Davidson a little extra because I have Pure O OCD and OCD and tourette's actually have lots of things in common.

One other thing that bugged me a little about some of the attitudes people seem to be taking, is that they apparently did make an announcement before the ceremony that he was in that audience and couldn't control what he said, so people should have understood what was going on when he yelled stuff.

The issue was that it wasn't edited out for broadcast, even though somebody said Free Palestine or something and they edited that out.

That makes sense for people in the audience though I can see how it would play with people watching it on tv. All they know they here some say the N-word. But then you hear ignorant comments from people who clearly don't know what they talking about such as he would only say something like that if it was something he believed inside or maybe he should not show up since he can't control it. Only good thing is I wasn't even aware of that movie he was in and now I want to see it.

It used to be that you could have Bela Lugosi play Ygor in one movie and Frankenstein's Monster in its sequel, and nobody would bat an eye.

Tom Holland and Zendaya are now married.

And with that happy news, I'm required to post this:

I don't make the rules. I just follow them.
Based on Zendaya’s recent statements, this seems to be true.
