I hope so. I want the season to be good but I was disappointed in it's first season on Disney.
I mean, the first season of Jessica Jones ran out of steam by episode 9 in the first place. Netflix's problem with ALL the MCU Netflix shows except Daredevil was that they never had enough content for the 13 episode runs, same thing happened to Luke Cage.

D+ has learned from that mistake.

It did? What the hell was I thinking, enjoying the whole show, all the way to the end?

You're not allowed. Only a select few get to determine what is worthy. The plebs must follow. It sucks, I know. Thankfully, there's a solution to that.
It's called 'fuck that noise' and have your own opinion. The Righteous don't like it, but us plebs make do.

I do wonder how they address it. I mean all this character change would have happened off screen. Plus I am not sure it makes sense that they would loose touch over the years. I mean they still all live in New York. Unless she lives off the grid like The Punisher you would think they would have lots of contact with each other over the years. Maybe not Luke Cage because the last we saw of him he was turning into a bad guy.

Yeah, I'm not sure how that'll be handled. Wait and see, I guess. IIRC, she and Luke have a baby in the comics. I imagine part of her story will be one of a recovering alcoholic.
It makes sense to me that once he stopped being Daredevil that he would have stopped associating with other people from that life, especially his fellow Defenders.

It's been awhile since I've read Marvel Comics, but Luke and Jessica were a great couple in the 00s...even if the comics themselves weren't great. I also agree that the MCU needs more Power Man. A Luke Cage/Shang-Chi movie set in New York would be the natural way to go.

I can't say that such is the case with absolute certainty given that I've not seen the second or third seasons of Jessica Jones or the second season of Luke Cage, but the distinct impression that I came out of The Defenders with was that whatever romantic feelings existed between Jessica and Luke were gone and never resurfacing.

Yeah. They went their separate ways romantically. Luke and Claire became a couple.

As part of an Esquire profile, Lewis Pullman talked about working on Doomsday and how the Russos managed such a large cast:

“It’s going back to the serum of the human archetypes that our art is built off of,” says Pullman, who notes that despite its vast cast, Doomsday is not just a cameo fest. “Every character has their moment that builds the dimensions of them,” he says. “The Russo brothers did that so well. They do not want anyone just sitting in the background. They really took to heart the responsibility of having some of the best actors in the world all together. There’s a lot of really exciting pair-ups that happen. A lot of fans will be really excited. It’s so fun to dream about. What if A and B would work together? Would B and D would work together? You get to see a lot of those fantasies come into fruition.”
He compares the superhero saga to ancient epics but halts before venturing much further. “Talking about Marvel is always such a funny dance of saying nothing while still words are coming out of your mouth,” he says.

48 years ago a CBS Friday night staple premiered, and still the best interpretations of both the Hulk and Dr. Banner.

Absolutely.

Only Norton's Banner and his Hulk film have been the only other worthy Hulk live action appearances / productions, but as good as that lone MCU Hulk outing was, its still no match for Kenneth Johnson's heartfelt, classic TV series.
