They can still send a C&D to TrekBBS telling them to remove the posts.

I wasn't really just thinking of the Trekbbs. Thinking more about the fact that once information gets out their is no way to make it go away no matter what efforts are done to in essence put the genie back in the bottle. These days it's harder and harder for shows to keep people from finding out spoilers.

An article about the runtime of a film that hasn’t been shot yet. Truly, we live in a golden age of journalism.

Yeah, they must be getting desperate for stories.
Less desperation, more laziness. Why go out and do actual journalism when you can just spin a few lines of a promotional interview into a string of highly speculative and irrelevant click content? Welcome to the wonderful world of access journalism, where the press are mostly just there to distribute official statements with very little if any come-back or research.

Maybe invest in going out and doing actual journalism?
Unfortunately, it's cheaper to do clickbait puff pieces than actual journalism. It's "easier" (for them) to force writers to churn out that drivel of dozens of articles per week instead of three to five substantial articles over the same time.

Yup. It seems like they're quietly acknowledging what all of us have been speculating for awhile now.

Also, I need to know who is in the chicken suit!

On a happier note, a fun, new teaser for Thunderbolts* with some intriguing new footage (and curiously omits Taskmaster altogether):

This new indie movie looks intriguing.

EDIT: I wasn't up on the Absolute Cinema meme, interesting dig back to Martin Scorsese.

I keep playing this thing over and over, awesome trailer.

To be fair, some go the extra mile, ask a celebrity about some throwaway line from another celebrity about them (which is usually taken out of context), turn it into media beef and several days worth of "content".
