I don't like how KIrk's death happened either though it was better than how Data was killed. Glad they fixed that in Picard season 3. Kirk was now given a proper ending as well in the online thing that people loved where he reunites with Spock in the afterlife.

The afterlife?

That's is how some see it. Or maybe a crossing over point before the afterlife. The assumption is we are seeing KIrk post death in 'Generations."

"Unification" from OTOY and the Roddenberry Archive heavily implies that Kirk was resurrected by Section 31 using the "Project Phoenix" program and retained his old memories. When he visits dying Spock in the Kelvin Timeline it's actually Kirk, not a postmortem spirit in the afterlife.

To be fair, OTOY were also quite careful to intentionally leave the short open to interpretation.

You know I think I kind of like this idea as well. Maybe even a mixture of the two ideas. He is basically in limbo. A place between life and the afterlife. At the end we might see him either crossover or come back to life. I heard some talk that the Shat Man might be returning to Trek. I could even see Kirk coming back all young but we see him have hallucinations talking to the old man he is on the inside. Perhaps a storyline for Star Trek:Legacy we for sure will be getting soon as the people in charge realized that is what the fans want more than anything! Captain Seven. Meet Captain KIrk!:)

I'm afraid it's to late for them to do anything about it. Once something makes it on the internet you can't get ride of it. You just know the clickbaiters are going to spoil everything.

Could we just not have blatant spoilers for movies that aren't even out yet?

Even though I had been flirting with/considering the idea of watching Daredevil: Born Again out of sequence with and alongside my watch-through of the The Defenders Saga, I ultimately ended up sticking with my original gameplan of waiting until I get to it sequentially, which consequently means that I started a watch-through of Loki instead, and, two episodes in, I'm rather enjoying it.

Owen Wilson, while not always being my 'cup of tea', fits pretty nicely here as a foil to Tom Hiddleston's Loki '12 (my nickname for the character he's playing). I'm also intrigued by the full introduction of Fem!Loki/Sylvie.

As an aside, I did end up just spoiling the rest of the show for myself because I can't stop my own curiosity, but maybe having Spoiler knowledge will help make sense of characters/elements of the show's first two episodes (Ravenna, Casey, Hunter B-15) that I found either uninteresting or superfluous.

As a second aside, I wish they'd bring back the TVA as the protagonists of their own series because it'd give me something to fill the Doctor Who void in my life since I'm strangely finding myself divorced of much current interest in the upcoming Series 15 even though I really enjoyed Series 14.
