How reliable is Cosmic Marvel? I've never heard of it before.

And before you say it, the blue checkmark is utterly meaningless.

They don't make anything up, THR, Variety wrote the news, the podcasts where the actors and producers participated and the interviews they gave, and the things that people like Daniel Rpk, who constantly make claims about Marvel movies and TV series and other big Hollywood companies, some of which turn out to be true, share on places like Patreon etc. There are many accounts like this on social media. Cosmic Marvel is another reliable account. There are also accounts like Marvel Updates that make it seem like the guy wrote things he didn't write.

Also, social media is constantly saying that Captain America 4 is reshooting. But according to The Hollywood Report, there was no reshooting except for the 22-day shooting in June. The person who brought this news up is a journalist named Jeff Sneider, who was fired from Variety. He also constantly makes claims on social media. He correctly announced the cast of Fantastic Four. Dafne Keen joined the acolyte, this was the first announcement. Also, it was the first leak that RDJ would return to Marvel with the role of Doom at SDCC. People thought he was joking. Apart from this, Marvel has also made a lot of news recently that James Gunn and Marvel and DC actors have denied.

Not really.
I meant out of the blue for the MCU....and making it a little more crowded unnecesarily.... like CLint's family is actually a welcome additon, for me, as it makes CLint more "normal". BUt Barney will add yet another archer, in a crowded field . I don't think they need more characters -- just work with what you have (unless Barney is the villain)

Based on what?
They don't make anything up. They share whatever claims there are about Marvel series and movies on the internet. They share things written by both unreliable sources and reliable sources such as The Hollywood Report and Variety. These are not news sites and they don't act like they are. These are their Twitter accounts.

So not reliable

So not reliable
If you look at them as if they were news sites, yes, they are not. But this is just a Twitter account, they are not making this up. They write claims and information about Marvel movies and TV series from both reliable and unreliable sources. This does not make it a news site. Because they do not produce this news themselves.

If your Twitter account is about reporting information about Marvel movies you're a "news site." Reporting is often a game of telephone, with site after site picking up the story from each other, but putting their own twist on it.

First of all, this account does not belong to me. Also, Cosmic Marvel is not a news site. It is a Twitter account, and if it were a news site, I would say you are right, but it is not. I said it is reliable because it does not produce anything as a Twitter account. Otherwise, if you look at it from a news site perspective, it is not. The source of the claim he made has already shared it. As I said, these kinds of Twitter accounts share news and articles with less reliable sources; more respected and reliable organizations and news sites such as The Hollywood Report, Deadline and Variety in order to get likes and comments. You exaggerated a sentence I wrote.
And before you say it, the blue checkmark is utterly meaningless.
Your blue check mark is being distributed to everyone by Elon Musk with money.

Does everybody in this guy's family gotta be an archer? damn

Like what if one of them wanted to be, i don't know, a tailor or something, would they be like 'hell no, it's archery for you'

I appreciate the post.... but was Hawkeye season 2 ever discussed? I mean, i know Jeremy Renner's accident defintely created some issues, but adding in a brother seems kinda outta the blue.

But i sure would be excited for a Champions show. I assume 8 episodes at least? 1 where each member is featured plus the opener and finale. Though i hope they come up with a more modern name.

I'll be a little surprised if they so easily let go of the 'Avengers' branding, but if they go with Champions I don't think there's anything unusually old-fashioned about that.

What do you mean by "produce anything"? They're doing the same thing as a news site. Reporting something they heard.

That's not news, that's gossip. An actual news organization would check the veracity of any claim before repeating it to the public, and would actively refute false or misleading information. Unfortunately, journalistic standards have been eroded so badly in the name of pursuing ratings that there's barely any difference between news sites and gossip sites anymore.

Very true.

They're still using the Champions title for the comics, they just started a New Champions series. Which makes me wonder if they will be using the Champions name instead of the Young Avengers name, since they seem to like to line up their comics and movie/TV titles.

One thing I've been wondering is - presuming the Champions/Young Avengers/whatever is finally a go, how will the different profiles of the actors change the show?

The basic issue I see here is they're all at somewhat different levels of fame. Several of them are known names in Hollywood and have either co-led or outright led their own series already. Others have had less exposure, with supporting roles in movies serving as their introduction.

The issue I see is becoming part of an ensemble means less screen time overall, and having it as a Disney+ series rather than a movie means it's not going to be that prominent.

I dunno what sort of contracts they have for them - maybe they signed some sort of multi-project agreements like the Avengers actors did - but I could see Steinfeld or Locke noping out after a season or two, just because they've got better things to do.
