lol i wonder if they were originally gonna do that with the kangs

after what happened in ant man 3 when exile kang told janet then later on scotty and cassie about how he was gonna fix the multiverse then in the mid credits when main kang and the other boss kangs were discussing about exile kang and how they invited the other kangs to the meeting about the multiverse
Yes, Secret Wars was the second movie all along. I'm going to guess Doomsday is a similar story to the one originally planned for the Kang dynasty.

Next week, from April 24-26, CCXP Mexico will be held. Disney and Marvel will be at 'that' event. The trailer that was shown at CinemaCon will probably be shown there. Trailers released at CCXP Mexico are usually released online.

Untrue. They laid off the entire visual development team, the artists and designers responsible for the look of Marvel Studios films. These are the people who design the characters, the costumes, the scenery, the equipment, everything about the look of Marvel films and shows for the past decade or more. It's not about the freelance VFX houses, because the VFX teams don't have anything to create until the in-house concept artists and designers have decided what it should look like. This is like if Marvel Comics laid off all its pencilers.

They said they're only keeping "a small team to oversee the hiring of artists on a project-by-project basis who will be outside contractors going forward," which implies that they fired everyone except the administrative staff.
That sucks, I know with those kind of jobs it can be hard to find work on a consistent basis, and now it's going to be even hard if they can't rely on Marvel for consistent gigs.

They're really learning from the comics, aren't they? I think this is a mistake if indeed people have Marvel fatigue. They won't go and see Doomsday because it is not a stand alone movie. I don't think I'm interested in seeing Endgame in the theatre again.

Feige, reading the story and sighing: “okay, fill up the dumpster truck with dollars again and head over to Reynolds’ house.”

You do realize there is a literal gag in there of them filming both Reynolds and Deadpool in front of Reynolds's house with Deadpool completely verbally ripping him apart over being a sell out?

Fuck.... I need that actually.

I can't believe they fired Andy Park, the man who more than anyone else defined the look at the MCU. He'll have no problem finding work, so it's only themselves they're hurting.

I thought that was Ryan Meinderding, whose name I always see credited as the head of visual development and character design. It looks like Park was a member of the department that Meinerding led.

Endgame re-release will include footage that connects with "Doomsday"

Does this mean a year they'll release an "Ultimate edition" of Endgame on 4k with Doomsday ties?
I'm guessing we will see Cap returning the infinity stones. Maybe we'll get that scene with Red Skull.

I would hope so with two highly-anticipated films and at least two shows (VisionQuest, second season of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man) coming out late this year.

Marvel Studios to Return to Comic-Con’s Hall H This Summer | Exclusive
The company will also have a large presence on the show floor in San Diego

After wowing the crowd at CinemaCon last Thursday with footage from “Avengers: Doomsday,” and after sitting out Hall H in 2025, TheWrap has exclusively learned that Marvel Studios will be back in its typical Saturday night spot at San Diego Comic-Con 2026.

The company will also have a large presence on the show floor in San Diego, while TheWrap understands that Marvel Studios will also have a presence in Anaheim come D23 in August. It’s a big year for the MCU.

Marvel Studios’ last Hall H appearance was in 2024 when it was revealed that Robert Downey Jr. would be playing the iconic Marvel villain, Victor Von Doom, with the Russo brothers directing both “Avengers: Doomsday” in 2026 and “Avengers: Secret Wars” in 2027.

This Hall H presentation, ahead of the release of “Avengers: Doomsday” in December, marks a major Marvel presence at a crucial time as the sequel marks both a return to form with favorites like Downey and Chris Evans back in front of the camera, and the start of a new era as the MCU builds to the next sequel “Secret Wars.”

Hall H, Comic-Con’s biggest venue, has long been a place for Marvel to ignite its fans and provide enthusiasm for upcoming titles. The “Doomsday” panel will likely be another one for the books.

The company jumpstarted the “Doomsday” campaign in March of 2025 with a five-hour-plus, record-breaking cast announcement livestream, then rolled out four individual teasers in December and January that were attached to “Avatar: Fire and Ash.” The teasers garnered over a billion views online.

The clock is ticking down to both “Avengers: Doomsday” on Dec. 18 and the re-release of “Avengers: Endgame” on Sept. 25. Marvel Studios, along with Sony, also has “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” hitting theaters on July 31.

Marvel made a big splash at New York Comic Con in October 2025, with a panel devoted to its upcoming live-action and animated television slate.

Last week, Disney pulled out all the stops at its CinemaCon panel, bringing out members of the cast of “Avengers: Doomsday” including Robert Downey Jr. A teaser for “Doomsday” finally revealed a first look at Downey as Doctor Doom.
