When an actor has a breakout role or a comeback role, it's the roles he or she chooses afterward that determine the direction their careers go. Harrison Ford got Star Wars, but then he got Indiana Jones. Look how quickly Mickey Rourke returned to where he was before The Wrestler.

Most people seem to make the assumption that just because a really famous actor seemingly vanishes from the public eye that he or she must have hit the skids. That's not to say that isn't sometimes the case but most of the time actors just keep on working off screen. I seriously doubt Mark Hamill has ever had to worry about getting a job since ROTJ.

Personally, I loved him as The Trickster in the 90's "The Flash".

I wonder how he'll slip into the Luke role this time-he showed some good range as the character in the OT I thought, going from whiny teen to seasoned commander but still impatient in ESB, to a more mature and calm semi-Jedi in ROTJ. If the beard is any indication he might sort of be an Obi-Wan like sage this time.

Personally, I loved him as The Trickster in the 90's "The Flash".

Having a fullfiling liva action job that matches his talents had to be difficult. Also he had to run around with his junk almost out in the Flash.
