That's the way it's always been with Trek.I was thinking about a comment on another thread-that if you bring in a new team, they will want to put their own stamp on the series. The JJ Klingons come to mind, as an example. If you were to bring in a new team for a new series, I imagine they would put their particular stamp on it, creating a product somewhat different from either Prime or JJ.

He admits to the anemic sales for TNG (it's not streaming well, either) but suggests Star Trek is still viable as a tv series.

And by "series" you are referring to the one remaining movie in the agreed upon three?... nuTrek is still respected by the bean counters and remains in process as a series of big budget movies.
