March Art Challenge - A Tribute To...

The sad news of Leonard Nimoy's passing last week has, I'm sure, left many of us in a reflective mood. So, it seems fitting for this month's art challenge to be to create “a tribute to...”


… well, the “who” is up to you. It can be anyone or anything from Star Trek, be it actor, character, ship, episode, writer, designer, director, producer or creator. And it's not limited to those who have sadly passed beyond the final frontier, after all, it's sometimes nice to show some appreciation to those who are still around to see it.




Usual rules apply, entries should be a new composition designed for this contest. Multiply entries are allowed and it's okay to have some overlap in the chosen subjects if, for example, most people want to create a Leonard Nimoy or Spock entry.


Send your final entries to Ptrope “at” gmail “dot” com by midnight on the 31st of March.

Yes, we usually stick to the rule that the entry should be created within the month of the contest.

My understanding has always been that it must be a new work created for the contest. The idea doesn't have to be new, but the work does IIRC. Your call though.
