Contest: ENTER March/April 2025 Challenge - Time Travel

A novel's a bit long for this contest...how about entering a stand-alone passage in the contest and starting a story thread for the rest of the novel? It is a Star Trek story?
Yes, All the Treks...
And it's all connected, there's not much stand-alone that would make much sense. It would be like posting the third act of a episode without context.

Here's the teaser:

--
What if a single anomaly—lost, forgotten, misunderstood, and entirely unprecedented—touched not just one ship, one crew, or one era… but all of them?

It’s a long road—from the first steps to the faith the name Enterprise has come to inspire. From NX to NCC, from A to Z, from Archer to Kirk, and beyond Picard—from legends to legacy. At the heart of this story lies a phenomenon science can’t fully explain… a traveler destined for discovery and a future where no one has gone before.

I'm looking for a place to share what I've created... based on someone else's IP.
Like everyone else, I'm only looking for validation.

I'm new to trekbbs and I wanted to share the 396 page novel I just finished about this very topic... where do I post it?
In a separate thread which you can link to in this thread. However, that story is too long to be included in such a time limited contest, I think. I doubt anyone will have the time to read it before the vote.
Please also post all chapters of a story in one thread. Don't start a new thread for each chapter.

Here's my entry:
Star Trek: Buck To The Future

3128 Words - 21 Chapters
Estimated Reading Time: 91 minutes

Introduction
First Lieutenant Anthony “Buck” Rogers is what you would expect from a 21st-century test pilot. Grounded, cocky, and fearless in the face of high-speed physics. Buck is also the guy you call when no one else can do what needs to be done.

The trajectory of his life veers off course when a mysterious woman from the future crosses his path inside a secure facility. Her disappearance leaves more than a prototype device behind. She brings a warning about an alien invasion from a race no one should remember and a weapon powerful enough to rewrite the course of future history.

Thrown forward in time, Buck finds himself on Antheia, a forgotten Earth colony caught in the power struggle between an expanding Romulan Empire and a cautious Federation.

Drawn into a covert mission that skirts the Prime Directive, Buck joins forces with Captain Pike and the crew of the Enterprise to find a missing president, unravel a regime backed by Romulan loyalists, and stop a catastrophic weapon from destroying Antheia.

Set in a shared universe that bridges Buck Rogers and Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, this story honors both legacies with thrilling action, rich character drama, and a timely look at resistance, trust, and sacrifice. Driven by Buck’s old-school instincts but grounded in Starfleet principles, it explores what happens when a man out of time becomes the hero history doesn’t know it needs.

Faced with secrets he never meant to uncover, a past he can never return to, and a future that depends on his every move, Buck must choose whether to play it safe or do the right thing for the right reasons.

All right, plenty of entries, it seems. Nice work, folks! I'll start up the voting thread soon-ish (have to eat something first).
