March 2020 Contest - Looking Forward

Thank you to everyone who voted. Realizing I actually had duties to perform after the fact, here we go!

I'm going with the theme "Looking Forward". Whether it's to the future, to better times, to newer bigger and better starship designs, just something in the Trek universe with an eye toward looking forward to a brighter and better future.

Is anyone else working on something for this month's challenge? I hope so as I'm really looking forward to seeing various interpretations of "looking forward to a brighter, better future."
Incidentally, is the deadline the end of the month, as usual? If so, only five more days to go

I did get it in a little later than usual so I'm not opposed to bumping it out if people need more time. I know I've been swamped with work.

As no one has asked for extra time (yet), here's my entry:

If an extension to the deadline is given, I may try and come up with a different composition using these pikhmit/pixmit cards - or something else entitely (time permitting, of course).

It's a quick entry this time, but I figure it's either that or nothing. Plus, it's going against rather strong competition anyway.

I don't know if it reads as what it's supposed to be, but in my head this was such a good idea. It's the Enterprise kicking the Corona virus' butt … in space! Starring my Eaglemoss NCC-1701 and an image of the virus on my laptop screen. Special effects done in Photoshop.

Mine is a quick little sketch I did this evening of a TOS starship design I've been musing over for awhile. She's a newly minted heavy explorer from around the Pike era. . Oh sorry for the crappy image quality, my camera on the phone broke.
