We've all seen it happened. Something happens, and the captain (from any TREK show) orders someone to use the 'manual over-ride'...BUT IT NEVER WORKS...
Of all the times the manual over-ride didn't work, which was the time it really could have helped the situation? Was it the Defiant? When DAX wasn't able to use the manual over-ride and evenually Sisko 'dies' in engineering (thus setting up the events of THE VISITOR)
When could they have really used that sucker!!!
