Manu Intiryami (Icheb) supports Kevin spacey, and disrespects Rapp and Gay community

Hey guys, newbie here.

I was just wondering if any of you have seen what Manu has been saying on Twitter about Anthony Rapp and Kevin Spacey. it's quite disturbing and gross the stuff he has said. Doesn't shock me now though, hearing the rumors of what he has done to his own fans and to his ex.

That's the problem with "social" media, people seem to have no filter between their thoughts and fingers, making posts/tweets/etc without any thought of common sense. He is, of course, entitled to whatever opinion he wants to hold, no matter how misguided it may be but in the grand scheme of things it's a Z list celeb trying to make waves.

Wil Wheaton did the same thing today in regards to the church shooting in Texas.

Manu is an awful person, defending a man who tried to sexually assault a 14 year old boy. His entire reaction, his victim blaming, his retaliation against former fans calling him out on it, all of it has been nothing short of disgusting.

Unless this got much worse past the first post, I'm pretty sure Manu is talking without reading up on the subject. He's describing about how sometimes there are age differences between two consenting people, even if one of them is too young to legally consent, and that this was much more common in the 80s than it is now.

Which is kinda true, but not what happened between Rapp and Spacey.

Spacey tried to rape a child.

Oh, Manu, Manu, you would have done better to refrain from commenting on the situation!

Seriously, I don't understand people who feels forced to comment on everything and anything, especially particularly telling ‎nonsense and / or insulting! :-(

Now, our dear Manu Intiryami impersonates a big a jerk (please, note I remain within the limits of courtesy but I do not think less!), in the eyes of his fans and Voyager's fans.
The question now is to know if this will impact on his already modest career of actor and/or producer!

A little clarification, if you allow me.
When I talked about "people", I especially referred to the world of show business and its lot of actresses/actors, tv reality stars and singers, who feels the irrespressible need to let us know what they think of other people and/or situation on currents/ topical subjects, without necessarily knowing the ins and outs or just getting a general overview to know what we are really talking. This story was a good example, alas.
-> I learnt that Manu Intiryami had since apologized to Anthony Rapp, the actor concerned by issue and it's a good news but if MI thought twice before tweeting his opinion, he would have avoid this little drame in the first place (some of his fans will forgive him but not all).
