Man kills himself during ''WATCHMEN''!

Too bad this didn't happen during Paul Blart: Mall Cop. :p

But in all seriousness, he chose to take his own life, so I feel bad for the fellow movie patrons who definitely weren't expecting that to happen. I wonder how this will affect them.

Did everyone get free movie passes?

Said truth is, i rather people just kill themselves and not a dozen people with them.

I have such a sick sense of humor because I chuckled when I saw that there were only 10 people in the theater.

Still, sucks for those in the theater. They won't forget it for the rest of their lives.

I know that suicide is often described as being selfish, but how self-absorbed do you have to be to insert this tragic event into so many people's lives?

There's a story in Washington state about a guy so messed up over his wife leaving him that he killed four of his kids in their beds and a fifth kid fought for her life before he killed her too. Then he killed himself the next day.

So at the very least, this guy at the theater didn't take anyone with them.

Watchmen is pretty depressing when you think about it. Maybe he should have went and seen Fast & Furious instead?

Man, I bet there's never been a group of people in the history of the world who wished they'd gone to see a movie with Paul Rubens.

Um
-5th weekend of release
-midnight showing

There is no funny. If it were opening week, yeah. Even second weekend.
No funny there but at least your self diagnosis is spot on.

Which is exactly why I don't feel sorry for the person who killed himself at all and find no issue in finding humor in it.

Besides, people keep saying he must have been depressed while watching it. It sounds more to me like he had a blast.

It's hard to think of a more inconsiderate suicide than this. Shooting yourself indoors alone is incredibly thoughtless... somebody has to clean your brains off the wall. This asshole has to upset other people in a dark theater. I always feel sympathy for the family and friends but I have none for this guy. I guess it's some consolation there were only 10 other patrons.

the other movie goers will probably never return to that theatre or watch Watchmen again. I will never watch Watchmen again for other reasons.

Well, to be fair... while the little loop of film at the beginning of the show does say no talking, no cell phones, and drag your screamin' ass baby to the lobby, it dosen't say anything about no gunfire or blowing ones own brains out.
