I'm glad you understood it.And how about the atmosphere glow? I'll try my hand at the sphere-ize tool later on tonight...I don't think I'll be putting in city lights, but I'll try the planet itself...
Thanks for the tutorial!

Hey, everybody. I built this image after some suggestions over at SciFi-Meshes... I think it turned out well.

I'm starting to like this ship... It's awkward, and ungainly and weird. Maybe that's why I like it.![]()
Yeah, I was informed that the lights are backwards. I'm going to have to fix that...i really like the valiant.
although the starboard lights should be green.
unless it's supposed to fly nacelles forward.
in which case i don't like it so much.

The only part that doesn't set well with me is that square spot where the impulse engines are. i may have to do something about that...
Yeah, I think you're right. I don't think I'm going to mess with it though... I would have to modify the saucer section a good bit to get it shortened. I'll just render it in angles that hides it, for now.Thanks.

I think it just needs to be a little stubbier. Right now it's a little awkward because it's sticking out too far.
Thanks.Wow! your light rigging has really improved! Those shots look just as good as FX from the movies! The shot of the Valiant especially. It really captures the look of a physical model.
