MadMan's Wallpaper Thread (Wide Image Warning)

avenger.jpg

My all time favorite ship. Think you could add that NuTrek flare? That is, if folks over at the Starfleet museum wouldn't mind...

:)

Wow, that is an interesting ship. I can't say that I like it... but I was actually drawing up something kind of similar.

It's possible.

When I asked for requests, though, I kind of meant for an image, with ships I already have. :)

Hello, everyone...

I thought I would start a thread just for my wallpapers, so they are easy to find.

The first two tonight are from a video that is currently in the render farm, of the Enterprise flying to help out the Saladin, which has been damaged in the middle of an asteroid field.

These were rendered completely in Blender, with only minor brightness/contrast adjustments in Photoshop.

I think I am getting the hang of more "Natural" lighting, and I can get these Nebulae to turn out ok.

WOW just wow stunning job.

Saw the new poster today... so I made this...

I wish they would quit cutting parts of the ship off. It's like they don't want the whole thing visible. :)

I know I am qouting your work, but I just want you to know what picture I am drooling over.. HOT DANG this is awesome.. What is blender? and can anyone use it, because wow this is AWESOME :D

Kitt... go here:

It's free. But don't expect to just jump in and do what MadMan is doing. We've watched his talents increase over the past year... but remember... "we learn by doing." If you've got the patience and the time, well... look what he's managed to do.

Hey thank you. That was very kind of you.. Appercaite it. And yes you are right.. it took me a year with playing with GIMP to the point where it looks decent. Thanks for the tip :)
