Just to be clear, the Black Widow's funeral is a trap.

Half the people there are there to make sure that she's dead, and they are going to be sniped by snipers, and the other half are paid actors.

But that still takes focus off Stark. Then your left with her basically being second banana at her own funeral. It's kind of like if in "Logan" we saw Wolverine and Professor X buried together at the same time at the end. I think you want a final goodbye to character to be something just for that character. Not something shared.

Black Widow had her moment sort of at the Cliffs with Hawkeye but her real good bye is in "Black Widow" were she finally gets her own movie and she destroys the Red Room and sort of passes the baton to Yelena and at the end returns to being a Avenger but we of course know this is her "Shane" moment sort of because we know she will die on those cliffs.

In the Comics, The Soul Gem is an entire living universe, and it sucks people from the real world, into itself.

Natasha is probably alive, inside the stone.

Who are you responding to?

I kind of wouldn't mind that. I wish we would have had more than just one Black Widow movie. Also that idea beats just getting a replacement Natasha from the multi-verse.

When you have a decades-long career and you're an acting legend, I imagine it's difficult to end on a masterpiece. They usually retire for a reason.
Clint should’ve packed in, at least acting, with Gran Torino.
