Madame Vastra spinoff?

Flame grilled steak. or those bacon crisp things that the Co-Op do as two for £1

Uh ... point of order? You Brits have bacon-flavored potato chips?!
Yep. Smoky Bacon, usually. But I think your man there is referring to the maize snacks that are supposed to look bacony. I like 'em. But I prefer the salt 'n vinegar maize snacks. As I said - these things are important.

:D
Now I want bacon, and I already had breakfast.

yeah, the Maize ones, but the co-op's are the best out of the supermarket brands... I mean, they're probably total poison, as nutritious as a cardboard box, but they're.... bacony!

Better than Frazzles?

About the same - but Frazzles are a brand name, not a supermarket's brand.

It would probably be tough for a full blown Series to make it, but, I'd surely support one if they tried.

Probably be best to have recurring appearances, or one off Special(s) or as mentioned, Book or Audio Series.

Can we stop talking about crisps, please, and get back on topic?

I'd be down for a series, but I feel as though Doctor Who has enough spinoffs, it's almost becoming too much to handle, between keeping track of the canon, and all of the infighting among the fans about it. The explanation for all of your misgivings is: "It's time travel." There you go.

But I say we see more of Vestra and Jenny in the show eventually. Possibly as companions.

So you don't want to price yourself too high by asking for a brand name?

TBH I haven't actually seen a packet of Frazzles for years, and thought they didn't make them any more...

But if I can get more of the same quality for less money....

Ignoring calls to get back on track... Yeah Frazzles are still about. Had some recently. Though they're Walkers now, not Smiths. But yeah, if you can get more out of it, why not?

Oh OK, back on topic. I would like to see a couple of specials or something, maybe a limited run returning series like Sherlock or something.

Seriosuly back on track!

I think for me there's only one question I'd need answering if a MAdame Vastra series did appear...

What flavour crispts to eat watching it?

There's only 2 spinoffs, though, and one ends this fall (Sarah Jane :( ), so there's room for one more. Though methinks Vastra and Jenny isn't CBBC material!

And anyway, we already have close to 50 years of canon to deal with (expanded universe included). So, really, adding another series won't make much difference to our workload.

Oh, and Old Dutch Baked Dill, FTW. ;)

I suppose, technically, it's bestiality rather than lesbianism. I can hear Mary Whitehouse spinning in her grave even now -- I think we just solved the energy crisis. As long as no actual tipping the velvet or other intimate contact is depicted, it would probably be safe for teatime consumption. A bigger problem would be avoiding the depiction of violence seeing as she's tooled up daisho-fashion. Sounds like a waste of a tremendous opportunity to abandon it to CBBC.

Kipper flavour, which I haven't seen around since the 70's. I think that's Freudian enough.

Nah, she exploded about 20 minutes into episode 3 of Torchwood: Miracle Day (US version). I'm told it registered on seismographs in Uranium City, Saskatchewan. :mallory:
