^ A cougar is basically the same animal as a puma, isn't it? Puma was OS X 10.1.
^ It is, but a similar situation exists with Panther (OS X 10.3). Depending on locality, panther refers to either a leopard, cougar/puma/mountain lion, jaguar, or any big cat (technically, all of the big cats are panthers).

Just a thought, PC/Windows users tend to call OS 10.x OS X while Mac users tend to call it OS 10.x. Of coarse that will change once they pass 10.9![]()
