Luke Cage season 2 has a trailer, a synopsis and a release date (June 22).

"After clearing his name, Luke Cage has become a celebrity on the streets of Harlem with a reputation as bulletproof as his skin. In nods to the comics, season two will see Misty Knight's bionic arm and a team-up with iron Fist. wWhat are your hopes and expectations for season 2?

All of this looks great, but I had no idea Reg E. Cathey had a role in this season! This must be one of the last things he filmed before dying. I hope he's in every episode. :D
 
I've still got 5 episodes of JJ S2 to get through but I'm really stoked for this!

I thought that was Cathey, but I wasn't sure when he passed away.

"It's my show." Heh. So has Luke gained Deadpool's power to pierce the fourth wall? More likely there's an in-story justification for it, maybe something to do with that opening bit with the videographer (maybe recording a Hero for Hire commercial?).

Nice clip, I think they're getting better at the martial arts stuff in these shows. Nice to see Misty take on the toughs "unarmed". DOTD > Iron Fist?

Hopefully Mariah doesn't get killed half-way into the season...

I like the way that Luke and how he fits into his neighborhood seem to be a part of the story, not just how does he beat up villain X. And unlike Black Lightning, which I like, he seems more a part of it than Jefferson Pierce who seems a little bit of an outsider to the struggles of his.
 
Can't wait for season 2. Is the "other" bulletproof dude an established Marvel character?
