Yup. It's just like "Google it." If that's the argument then I'll simply ignore it.
They confirmed that there are turboshafts in the pylons:
Props to Tawny for knowing "Cheron".
They both know things well, apparently
Very nice interview! I get the feelings these guys know what they are doing. And I love that Jadzia is Tawny's favorite Trek character. It'd be cool if Mariner stepped into her footsteps.
If someone else posted this, I'd assume they'd want Mariner to die
No, that's not what I meant. I love Jadzia, and if Mariner is even half as cool I will love her as well.
My daughter is here and watched the trailer. First thing she pointed out is the four characters reminded her of the Teen Titans.
At 6:25, it looks like Boimler is wearing a skant!
He's wearing a dress uniform. Notice the pants. He's probably taking a second contact situation way too seriously.
I THINK that’s the dress uniform, no?
Yeah as Michael said, it's a dress uniform. The early TNG ones looked similar.
I think that's just a dress uniform, judging by the black stuff on his legs (presumably pants). TBH as much as I'd love a reintroduction of skants, I feel like those would lead to a lot of cheap "he's not as masculine because he's wearing these clothes" jokes, and that'd suck. If they can pull it off, resisting the easy jokes, I'm all for it though!
Ah yes, definitely a dress uniform, not a skant. Wishful thinking on my part.
Okay, wow, we're all really into dress uniforms.
On the other hand, the uniform looks exactly like the regular one, while TNG dress uniforms had slight variations to the standard, so maybe it is a skant.
Maybe it was cold and he wanted to put on some additional pants. Honestly, I have commited worse fashion crimes in the name of not dying of temperature
Those are just long-sleeved 'Scants with Pants'.
Literally ... 'DRESS' Uniforms.
And those showed up as late as DS9 as when Sisko was promoted to Captain. Worf and Jadzia may have worn those dress uniforms in Season 4 during the former's trial for allegedly killing those Klingons aboard that ship. They may still have been in use in Starfleet even after the Dominion War.
They were also used in "You are Cordially Invited," (season 6) with some changes. That was before Insurrection introduced the new dress uniform.
I think they had them on VOY as well, when they buried the Mars guy in One Small Step
Yeah, they kept using them throughout Voyager since they weren't affected by uniform changes.
