I started my fiftybillionth rewatch a couple of weeks or so ago
. My niece has my Season 1 DVD, so I watched from S2 onwards and finished S4 last night.
I've since bought S1 on Blu-Ray to match the other seasons, so I think I might watch that before moving onto S5.
A Lower Decks streaming movie would get me to subscribe to P+, but I'd want a lot more LDS content to stay subscribed.
Edit:
Who here always watches the opening credits even though they've seen them loads of time before? I always do as the scenes still amuse me. During this rewatch I've noticed a few things I hadn't before, though.
For one, there appear to be specks of space dust or something passing through two or three of the scenes. In the Season 3 Borg battle scene there are three quite obvious specks that come from the upper right quadrant of the screen just after the
Cerritos turns to nope out of there. Strangely, although they're really obvious in the Season 3 credits, they seem to have disappeared in S4 (although there's one that passes between the cubes and the whale probe that's still there).
Another piece of somethingorother passes over the Cerritos from the right just before it warps away in the final scene.
Oh, and something I'm going to check when I watch S1 on Blu-Ray is whether the
Cerritos can be made out in the plasma streamer thingy as it gets pulled towards the black hole. I can make out a speck of light in the streamer that seems to be the ship from S2 onwards, but have never caught it when watching the S1 DVD. Can anyone else see it?
