Spoilers Lower Decks General Discussion Thread

My point is that Siddig is 25 years older than that last time we saw him in DS9. Sounding his age in 2410 makes way more sense than 2380’s Bashir.

I mean, we have no indication Alexander Siddig is even going to be in Lower Decks besides someone in this thread saying they heard a rumor about it without a source. How about we wait until there's something a bit more concrete on the matter before we start worrying over whether Siddig still sounds the same as he did in the 1990s?

Jesus, of all the things to "worry" about.

On Trektalks2 (fundraiser), Mike Mcmahan told some things about S4:
-there will be a wedding (he doesn't specify more than that, could be outside the crew)
-Peanut Hamper will make an appearance during the season
-there is also a valentine-like episode (which may or may not be the same as the wedding one, not specified)
-T'Lynn will be in it more than before, but we knew that one already

McMahan also said that the original idea of the show was to keep the characters constant (and thus use reset buttons, even to comedic effect), but that they do want evolution in the characters at this stage. Which seems a good thing to me.

Oh, this is about Justin Roiland? Yeah, I'm not sure I'd call him "one of Mike McMahan's closest collaborators." They worked together on Rick and Morty and they're both co-creators of Solar Opposites, but I think that's the extent of their work together.

Roiland has definitely never been involved with Lower Decks in any capacity, so yeah, that has no relevance in this forum whatsoever.

I just finished a rewatch of seasons 1, 2, and 3, and it honestly is one of my favorite Trek shows, past or present. The cast, the voice acting, the stories, the animation, it's just so well done. It's a shame season 4 is months and months away.
