We're half way through the season with the next episode.

Mike said in an interview with TrekCore that it gets more interesting in the second half, they start 'breaking their own rules', whatever that means.

That interview gives away the title to the next episode (An Embarrassment of Dooplers) which I haven't seen reported anywhere else. Looking online, I see a few people have mentioned Dooplers in relation to Lower Decks only (they are a new race, that will feature Richard Kind as a guest character), that just show that it was one of the review episodes for critics.

There's a picture also of the Dooplers that seem to imply a tribble-like infestation from these guys.

Isn't that a similar kind of Alien (Mr. Kolrami) that Data managed to best in Strategema game?

I remember seeing that - it was like a subliminal blip. Yeah, I figured they would do at least one MM-style episode, which is awesome, since now they can really satirize the over-the-top nature of the AltVerse.

I remember last year when we were all sure Vindicta was a Mirror Universe Mariner. This is probably just Mariner and Shaxs cosplaying on the holodeck or Sam daydreaming again.

As wacky and crazy as LD gets, they have thus far avoided time travel or mirror universe trips.

Probably a bit over-enhanced. But my car was a 16 minute subway ride and a 37 minute trolley ride away, and I kind of wanted to get home the polite side of midnight, so I wasn't exactly inclined to look for a place where I could brace my cell phone for a better shot. Wish their was a episode of the cast of the lower decks was trying to get information from a vaadwaur informant but accidently got him killed. But got him resurrected by the kabali but shortly he got captured and assimilated by the borg. Then had to call in the expert Seven to break him from the collective.
