Lost Sulu fan film trailer 'STA: A Time to Heal' finally online

Thank you for the 'heads up'. I have placed this on my 'to do list.' I notice that they mention the Yorktown Sulu films. Do you have any idea where I might find those?

Like finding a lost sensor drone in Klingon space it takes a little doing but not completely impossible.;)

Interesting trailer. If I'd heard about it, I didn't remember it. Still, it was fascinating to see a young George Takei involved in the project. So the gig is to recast and remake it?

Interesting stuff. Hard to make a lot of it out because of the quality of the recovered footage, but it looked like they were pretty ambitious with what they were doing.

I like the interpretation of the uniforms which look to be a mix of TOS and TMP era designs.

And James Shigeta as Nogura? Very cool.

I must need a plug-in that I don't have. I can't get it to load.

Would it have been so hard to put the damn thing on youtube?

Cool. Nice to finally see some video from this project. It's been one of the missing links in fan films, spoken of as legend and myth lost to the ages for so long, I'd really thought it was lost to time.

New Voyages/Phase II has an extensive article on this project in their magazine. You can view it online. It has much more info than the Starlog article.

I don't think they do... anymore. It was mentioned in the other thread about this that they edited out the articles on this fan film the other day.

Anyone have a pre-revised copy of the latest issue. I have the one with part one. I'd like to read part two...

Well, struck out on the Starlog bit. The only ones I can get to are the first fifteen issues; the rest are buried under a mountain of other stuff.

I had the dubious advantage of a hard working friend helping to put the stuff in the storage unit, who was so fast that I don't know where half the stuff is in there. For instance, by the time I asked him if he'd seen by phaser collection, he'd already loaded 'em all into an empty suitcase which had already been pitched well out of reach towards the back of the unit.

There's such a thing as being too fast.
