'Lost' star says finale 'perfect'

Lost star Daniel Dae Kim insists fans of the desert island drama will not be disappointed with the show's climax - it has left him stunned.

The actor is one of the few stars who know how the series will end and he admits the show's creators have outdone themselves.

He tells Entertainment Weekly magazine, "I found the finale incredibly powerful. So much so that after I finished reading what I received, I had to sit for a few minutes after I closed the last page, just to reflect on it.

Very cool. It's nice to hear someone's perspective that's read the ending and come away satisfied. Not that I had lost faith the writers to complete the story, but it's still nice to hear from someone's who's actually read the ending.

If there's one thing Lost has always done well, it's season finales. I have complete faith that this will be awesome. I fully expect to be on the edge of my seat.

Eh, they might. I remember reading a few reviews when the BSG finale came out that a few of the actors were skeptical of it. Nobody thought it sucked, but some were unsure about how it would be received.

Jolene Blalok did for the ENT finale. Of course that was an astounding level of shit so maybe it's just an exception

I don't remember that at all. People were mostly tight lipped about it but most said it was really emotional etc etc and that's about it. Katee Sackhoff hinted that Starbuck wouldn't get a fairytale happy ending with Apollo but said she didn't think she should.

I'm hopeful about the finale. The show needs to go out with a bang.

All I want is a good finale that leave me satisfied. Nothing high up the scale like the greatest series finale in TV history. I don't expect all of Lost's mysteries to be answered. I only expect a decent portion of them to resolved nicely and for the characters have decent endings, not crappy or far-fetched.

The problem isn't that we don't think it won't be good, the problem is we think not all the answers will be given, there will still be many questions left, possibly even more after the finale.

I think we have to just accept that this may be the case, and they will leave a lot up to our imaginations to fill in.
