It gives you pleasure to see cute young blond mothers die? Sick. There will only be about two girls left if Claire dies.

It gives me pleasure seeing fictional, cute, young, blond, useless, annoying, stupid, waste-of-other-character's-time mothers die.

It'll kind of be a drag if they kill her in the way DarkUFO suggests they might. Other than that though, she can die and I'd be cool with it. I don't really root for certain characters to die or 'succeed'. They all have a place in the story and as long as their death fits with what's going on in an interesting way that's all I care about.

What does DarkUFO suggest? The last thing I saw was a couple of months ago where she was supposedly kicked out of the helicopter which was supposedly debunked.

That would be the one. He re-stated that as the possibility today, which means it may not be total BS.

I don't think Claire is dying anytime soon. At least not until te end of ths season. But I think they won't and we'll see Claire being alive on the island along with Locke and Sawyer.

I don'tthink Miles is dying since that role was written specifically for Ken Leung and he hasn't really used his ghost whispering powers that much. So bye-bye Karl.

Meet Kevin Johnson

It promises to be a dynamite chapter in the unfolding Lost saga, according to executive producer Damon Lindelof:

''Yes, you'll find out a lot about Michael. But you'll ALSO learn why bearded Jack was unable to jump. AND where the Others are holed up. AND, according to those silly promos, apparently someone dies, too.''

Damn,

I must be getting senile. I"m like bridge? And now it's coming back to me, kind of faintly. No wonder I have so much trouble with this show, I can't remember stuff one week to the next.

Spoilers for Meet Kevin Johnson:

Chicago radio interview - Harold Perrineau

Harold did an interview with the Erik and Kathy show on a local Chicago radio station this morning (101.9 the mix www.wtmx.com). I don't think they post the audio on their website, but basically, Erik and Kathy asked if Michael was Ben's man on the boat, and Harold said -- that's Ben's perception. Harold then realized that he slipped and shouldn't have said that.

Wish I could get the audio, it was pretty funny. Harold did say that we'd see this on tonight's episode.

and thanks to chicagorob1 for this version.

This morning, during a phone interview on the Eric and Kathy Radio Show in Chicago, Harold Perrineau let slip something about his role as Ben's mole on the boat. When asked if he was really there working for Ben he stated,"At least that's Ben's point of view. (There was a moment of silence) Oops, I said too much, I let that slip by mistake."

When the radio hosts pushed him for more info, Harold kind of clammed up and sounded kind of nervous.

"I don't want to give anything else away by mistake.", he replied.

Finally, they asked him if he was Walt all grown up, he laughed out loud and said that was the first time he heard of that theory..."

From Doc Artz:

Tonight is the night! Michaelpalooza comes to an end with the return of one of the original 815'rs. But there are a lot of questions about how and why Michael has returned. I have some hints to keep yourselves busy:

Michael's reason for returning has to deal with something he wants to do personally, but cannot do away from the island.

Despite all of my hopes and dreams to the contrary, Michael is not a clone/duplicate/ twin. :(
Michael is not being coerced to be there by Ben, but by the island itself.

An old face will reappear in a manner reminiscent of Charlie in the season 4 premiere, and (for me at least) raise some new questions about the incorporeals on the show.
Yes, yes... somebody dies... but TWO are shot.

I've got it! Jack sees Claire floating in the water, and remembers her sacrificing herself for Aaron.

It was a joke, Starbreaker. I have no idea. I'm trying to figure out why it's important for us to know.

The Shape of Things to Come - episode 9 title

As per the Official Podcast episode 4.09 will be called "The Shape of Things to Come". This is rumoured to be a Ben and/or Sayid episode based on the filming photos that we've recently posted.

podcast summary from a poster at Dark UFO

*Shocking twist for the finale will not be the final scene, but close to the end of the episode.
*Oceanic Six are Jack, Kate, Hurley, Sayid, Sun, and Aaron.
*Tom (Mr. Friendly) is indeed gay.
*Desmond/Minkowski "side effects" may indeed be the "Sickness" that Rouseau refers to... (they hint at it very strongly)
*The Swan Hatch implosion will probably not be revisited. However, we have not seen the last of the "purple sky" this season.
*They explain the appearance of certain paranormal events and what they are....
Ben's mother=apparition
Sawyer's Boar=animal
Spider=monster
Hurley bird=no comment
Dave=apparation/imagination
Yemi=Monster
Kate's horse=undead
Mikail' Cat Nadia=animal
Walt=some have been apparition, some have been monster
Boone in Locke's dream=dream
*Lepidus name in Expose script that Hurley read is just a name one of the writers in fond of.
*Is Aaron in danger since he is being "Raised by Another"? The psychic told Claire that she must raise the baby herself. They leave it up to the viewers if you believe if the psychic is real or not.
*Significance of name Kevin Johnson.....the Others chose the most innocuous and bland name they could so as not to raise suspicion and raise attention to Michael's alias.
*Will learn much more about four-toed statue and Black Rock.
*Secret code name for the finale twist "The Frozen Donkey Wheel"
