Lost SPOILERS Four-Toed Foot!

Maybe they'll be caught in a [Picard]temporal causality loop.[/Picard]

That way they can show reruns and say it's really the show continuing.

Sawyer, Kate and Hurley
On a routine expedition
Met the greatest earthquake ever known.
High on the rapids
It struck their tiny raft
And plunged them down a thousand feet below.

One of these two statements is true:

-Sayid will die
-Sayid will kill Jack

I don't want either of them to happen, but one will.

  • Maggie Grace's (Shannon) absence from the beginning of the new season will be explained by a significant change to Shannon and Boone's (Ian Somerhalder) backstory.

This one is interesting.

If both Shannon & Boone were not on the plane (or in the first episode)then the change to the backstory could involve Shannon's father not dying (ie, Jack saves his life, but not his future wife's), so she never "runs away" or hooks up with that guy in Australia so they would never try tricking Boone into giving her money and traveling down under, so they both wouldn't be on flight 815.

But Boone is on the plane (and in the first episode), but Shannon isn't so something else must happen.

What, I'm not sure.

The easiest way would be to just say, Shannon never left Australia with Boone in this timeline, but rather ran off with her boyfriend, or maybe freaked out after sleeping with Boone and caught a different flight, or got kicked off the flight before take-off for being a bitch, however it happens, it ends up with Boone traveling on 815 alone.

Our 12 Days of Lost-mas--in which we give you scoop on the upcoming and final season of Lost—continues with a goodie today on a fan favorite many of you fear may be largely MIA when the series returns Feb. 2:

Desmond, a.k.a. Henry Ian Cusick.

Assuming the rumors are true that Lost's sixth season will center around that fateful Oceanic Flight 815, which Desmond was not on, does that mean we won't see Des?

Here's what I can tell you...

1. According to sources, we will see Desmond again.
2. Fairly early on in the season.
3. His first appearance will be with one one of the Losties and the scene/encounter is very surprising.
4. You guys are going to love it! (Honestly)

That's all I can spill for now, 'cause I'm told this is one surprise you won't want to be spoiled for...

For a good five seasons now, Benjamin Linus (Michael Emerson) has been one of the most sping-tingling, blood-curling "bad guys" on television, and certainly the most creeptastic "Other" on ABC's Lost.
But that's about to change in the upcoming final season, starting Feb. 2, because there's a new Baddie on Lost who will make Ben Linus look more like the wimpy Peanuts character with whom he shares a name.
So who is this terrifying and awesome new Big Bad? What has he done and how will you see him?
As our 12 Days of Lost-mas--in which we stuff your stockings with spoilery goodies--continues, here are three true things I can tell you about the New Big Bad.
He:
Killed **h*.
Killed ***o*.
Is *h* **o** *****e*.
Wants to "g* **m*."
Again, this time, all three of these things are true. Your job is to decifer the missing letters...

Oh, Sayid Jarrah, your hotness knows no bounds. Not to mention, you are a fan favorite. So they certainly can't be killing you (Naveen Andrews) off of Lost as early as the very first episode of the final season, right?

Maybe...maybe not.

Our 12 Days of Lost-mas continues with the latest gift: some brow-raising scoop on what's ahead for Sayid when the new season of Lost begins Feb. 2. It is a matter of life or death, so read at your own risk!

One of the following is true:

1) Sayid dies.
2) Sayid kills Jack.

Remember, when we last saw these Losties they were in 1977. Sayid had been shot and Jack (Matthew Fox) was near the site of the bomb that supposedly went kablooey and reset time.

Dark,

You provided an excellent analysis of the hangman, but wanted to offer up a few of my thoughts since this is my final one and my last time really interacting with your readers.

First of all, congrats to all of you for solving so quickly. To address the people confused by the names used... it's to make it challenging and more accessible to those familiar with the show (obscure names and all). Those who think using full/mixed names is cheating, you can use puzzle-solving websites to help you, so I think we're even. A hangman that's easy to solve in a day with only one letter isn't much for for either of us. You were able beat the Christmas hangman before Christmas, so it's clear you can handle it.

A CHESS GAME IS AN APT ANALOGY AS WHITE AND BLACK MANIPULATE THE PAWNS. THE EYELINED ONE IS TORN, AS “SAMUEL” AIDS HIM, BUT FOR A PRICE.

The hangman offers up some specific things, but I also wanted it to highlight larger events and themes, not only of the season, but the series. The representation of light and dark were always meant to be part of the series, and become actual characters that represent the sides, but in the first line, the names Jacob or MIB aren't used because they aren't the only ones being referred to by "white" and "black."

The chess game is a nod to the Spanish trailer for season 6, but also to the importance of games in the series. Lots of games have been referenced throughout the series. Games must have players from different sides. And if one side has won, then the other side has...

ALDO, DOGEN, MARTIN, LENNON, AND OMAR ARE NOT LONG FOR THIS WORLD. SOME FALL TO A TRAINED SOLDIER WHILE OTHERS DISCOVER THEIR DARK SIDES FOR THE FIRST TIME. OTHERS THOUGHT GONE REAPPEAR, INCLUDING AN ATTENDANT AND TWO YOUNGSTERS.

Kudos to those who got the reference to Sayid from season 1. Dark sides being discovered doesn't just refer to taking a life or two... it also refers to the overall sides people join.

DISCOVERIES ARE MADE. JONATHAN ACCOMPANIED BY JIM FORD READ THE CRUCIAL WRITING ON THE WALL, LITERALLY. THE LATTER FROM ABOVE STUMBLES ONTO A MACABRE PILE, "KENDALL" AND A TRAP SPRUNG SEVERAL TIMES.

Jonathan = Locke. I know, I know... but you figured it out.

LANDING BRINGS MIXED BLESSINGS. CHRISTIAN'S A GRANDFATHER, A CHANCE ROMANTIC DATE ISN'T REALLY BY CHANCE AT ALL, AND ALTHOUGH MANY OLD FRIENDS CROSS PATHS, NORWOOD IS NOT TO BE A LOCKE NOR JAZEEM A JARRAH.

It was my fault with the Christian being a grandfather thing. Originally, it read "Christian's a grandfather.... again" Somehow, the "...again" part was swept away by accident and it wasn't realized until after it was solved.

AND SOMEWHERE, LITTLETON KILLS KATE...

The first letters revealed were selected in order to highlight this section and make people speculate rampantly before other letters were released. I know it was cruel, but isn't rampant speculation between episodes what this show is all about?

ALMOST. BUT WHOSE SIDE IS ANYONE REALLY ON?

Picking sides is obviously a clear theme throughout the recent seasons, but is especially important this season. Also... this has multiple meanings. I'll end with this: A side can refer to a team/group, but it can also refer to an actual area divided by something. What's something that can divide land on the island?

Glad people had fun. Happy nondenominational holiday to all.

P.S. There are several other references buried in here somewhere that'll make a lot more sense once season six has aired. I suggest rereading this after. Also, Hurley is the best character in the series.

Wow... We had no idea that the resourceful DarkUFO fans would solve the Christmas Hangman quite so quickly. We had this planned for at least up the 30th Dec!

My contact was extremely impressed. Matt - Wow very Impressed with his work, also congrats to Lance, Lisa, tdciago, thinker, robert, lost_nn_found, sawyers, spath, memento, labradorer, Fortes, methosrocks and many others. The actual person who got the correct combination was Memento with this entry.

Now that we have this lets deconstruct this a little with what we know along with some of my own speculation and thoughts, based on what I know. My source may also drop a little update later.

Let us know in the comments your thoughts on these spoilers.

A CHESS GAME IS AN APT ANALOGY AS WHITE AND BLACK MANIPULATE THE PAWNS
As we suspect Lost's overall story is about that of Jacob and MIB and their "game". Our Losties are the pawns. Who and what Jacob/MIB are is another story.

THE EYELINED ONE IS TORN, AS “SAMUEL” AIDS HIM, BUT FOR A PRICE
Well, "Samuel" was name of on the casting call for MIB. I can assume that this spoiler relates to Alperts Episode, Ab Aeterno. We can make the assumption that Alpert was on the black rock and perhaps MIB gave him his "immortality" in return for something.

ALDO, DOGEN, MARTIN, LENNON, AND OMAR ARE NOT LONG FOR THIS WORLD
I think this one is self-explanatory and we should not expect them to be around much :)

SOME FALL TO A TRAINED SOLDIER WHILE OTHERS DISCOVER THEIR DARK SIDES FOR THE FIRST TIME.
We can assume from this that the trained soldier is Sayid who takes out a number of these characters. The others killed by some of our Losties?

OTHERS THOUGHT GONE REAPPEAR, INCLUDING AN ATTENDANT AND TWO YOUNGSTERS.
I think we all know this relates to Cindy, Zach and Emma.

DISCOVERIES ARE MADE. JONATHAN ACCOMPANIED BY JIM FORD READ THE CRUCIAL WRITING ON THE WALL, LITERALLY.
Not entirely sure on this one myself. It could relate to the other spoilers we have had about some of our Losties having "numbers" attached to them. So it looks like Locke and Sawyer discover this writing.

THE LATTER FROM ABOVE STUMBLES ONTO A MACABRE PILE, "KENDALL" AND A TRAP SPRUNG SEVERAL TIMES.
Sawyer discovering a pile of dead bodies? Sawyer gets caught in a Rousseau like net perhaps?

LANDING BRINGS MIXED BLESSINGS
As we all suspect, their lives in the ALT timeline will not as happy as they had hoped for.

CHRISTIAN'S A GRANDFATHER, A CHANCE ROMANTIC DATE ISN'T REALLY BY CHANCE AT ALL, AND ALTHOUGH MANY OLD FRIENDS CROSS PATHS, NORWOOD IS NOT TO BE A LOCKE NOR JAZEEM A JARRAH.
The big one here is knowing that Jack is actually a father, this I am confirming for you. Who is the mother? Kate/Sarah/Juliet/Someone else? The romantic date is confirmation of the Sawyer/Charlotte storyline that we've previously reported, as well as the appearance of Nadia and Helen.

AND SOMEWHERE, LITTLETON KILLS KATE...
ALMOST. BUT WHOSE SIDE IS ANYONE REALLY ON
Looks like Claire will be going all Rambo on Kate at some point, but why and when is another story.

Merry Christmas!

Sweet! I can only hope that Claire killing Kate will be permanent! And that Sayid kills Jack (and not Sayid dying)! :D

He:
Killed **h*.
Killed ***o*.
Is *h* **o** *****e*.
Wants to "g* **m*."
Now that last tidbit is interesting. Where exactly is his **m*?
I looked at the comments for that post and they believe the answers are:

Killed John
Killed Jacob
Is The Smoke Monster
Wants to Go Home

Remember, three out of four of those are true, so that would mean "Killed John" isn't true.

Sayid will kill Jack

I sure hope it's this one!

It won't be. Matthew Fox has already mentioned (I believe back during Season 4) when he was on Jimmy Kimmel that he is one of the few people that the producers have told the whole storyline to and how everything will end up and he's part of it.

Like it or not the show is about Jack. He is the main character and the main focus of the series. He will live until the end of the show (I mean, he could die in the last episode of the show saving everyone else, but he will make it to the end.)

It's like any show with numerous characters, everyone may have their favorite, but there is always one main character you can be sure will make it to the end. It was Picard in TNG, Sisko in DS9, Jack Bauer in 24, Dale Cooper in Twin Peaks, Mulder in X-Files, Peter Paterlli in Heroes, and Jack Shepard in Lost.

if Sayid does "kill" Jack it will be as part of a ploy to fake his death for some reason, or it will be an "alternate timeline" version of Jack that won't effect the current Jack on the show.

- A large part of the Season 6 Premiere LA X Part 1 will be on Flight 815
- We will see Desmond on this Flight
- The Statue will be "seen" from the plane
- Jack bumps into Kate on the Plane
- Jack saves Charlie again
- Kate beats up the Marshall
- We see Juliet die but not before a final kiss
- We See Jacob appear to Hurley
- Sawyer and Jack fight again

I want it now!!!

More.

According to sources, all of these things will be said in the first six hours of Lost's new season (starting Feb. 2), and they are pivotal to the plot:

  1. "Am I alive?"
  2. "It turned out she did not want out."
  3. "I wanted you to be able to go home."
  4. "I was killed by an *** ******."
  5. "I was supposed to die."
