Lost SPOILERS Four-Toed Foot!

Now I'm expecting the unexpected.

Episode 7 is called "Dr. Linus".

Ring my friend, I said you'd call, Dr. Linus...

An early morning Twitter post from local social media star Russ (a.k.a. @ParkRat) revealed the tell-tale presence of production trailers near Kahala Mall. It was a modest, interior shoot, so there were few details. But those few details are still worth pondering.

A visiting fan followed Russ’ clue to a residential street just off Kilauea Ave. All the magic was happening inside a plain looking home. But two actors were seen coming and going from the set: Michael Emerson (Ben) and Jon Gries (Roger Linus, Ben’s father). Later in the day, Tania Raymonde (Alex) was spotted.

There’s no telling exactly where and when the scene was set, but the visiting fan was able to overhear one tantalizing line of dialogue for Roger Linus, as referenced by the script supervisor:

“This is not the life I wanted for you, Ben.”

Whatever Ben’s been up to, mixing with students and teachers in a high school, it sounds like he’s still disappointing his dad.

God, I hate Ben's dad...

Well, Ben's dad did eventually lighten up...

11/14 - Set report spoilers from Celestial Beauty: This is what I managed to find out on the set I visiting during the filming at the High School last week. You already have a few bits of this but here goes. At the school, Alex (Tania Raymonde) is actually a student at this school where Ben is a teacher. She is still "close" to Ben. Also spotted at the school are both, boom boom, Doc Arzt and Rose! No sign of Bernard. One of the new guests that you posted, William Atherton, was on the set. He is actually the Principle of the school, however I'll leave you with this cryptic snippet. Although he is the principle, that may not actually be his only role! Locke and Ben both work at the School. Source: Lost Spoilers

I don't like. I don't want them to waste tons of time in an "alternate timeline" back in the real world. I want them to be back on the island answering questions.

It seems awful fishy that this many people are in the same place together. There has to be something more than just an alternate time line.

That just sounds like a stupid little dream sequence. Maybe Ben gets knocked on the noggin and hallucinates It's A Wonderful Life. Sounds like an odd choice to make in the final season though...

They've managed to keep what's actually going on under wraps. We get all these snippets and I'm still saying "WTF" instead of "ohhhh, that's gonna be cool".

Yeah, I've been really impressed how well they've kept things quiet. I'm still kicking myself for reading spoilers about the flashforwards.

They didn't stay off the island very long in season 5, so we have to trust them. Maybe there is the main timeline and the alternate one going on at the same time?

Either way I'm sure the show is going to end badly and that we never get any real answers. Soemthing in line with the BSG finale.

JasonBuskin via Twitter: Lost premiere is Groundhog Day. Coincidence?
Nope! I'm told it was fully intentional. Not so much by Lost's producers but by the higher-ups (Steve McPherson) at ABC. Pretty awesome, right?

Uh ohhhh!

Maybe they'll be caught in a [Picard]temporal causality loop.[/Picard]

That way they can show reruns and say it's really the show continuing.

Here's a quick recap of the Season 6 Episode titles;

1&2 LA X
3 What Kate Does
4 The Substitute
5 Lighthouse
6 Sundown
7 Dr. Linus
8 Recon
9 Ab Aeterno

Hmmm..."The Substitute" is probably a play on "The Constant."

I can't wait! :D

Sadly, I won't be able to watch until May or so because I go on deployment again starting February.

Also, it should be noted that "ab aeterno" is Latin for "from the beginning of time."
