Lost In Time Re-Release?

EzyDVD here in Aus have the Lost In Time set listed as "Coming Soon" with a release date of June 1st.

I had heard nothing about a re-release of this set. Is this just some error at the EzyDVD website, or what?

Wiki has this to say: "The Region 4 Release will be available in Australia on the 1st July 2010."

As always, it could be just info copied from the website you mentioned and not accurate.

Could be the first R4 release too.

Nah, LiT was first released in region 4 yonks ago. IIRC, it was the usual 2 months or so after the UK release.

It's certainly not a new edition, unless they felt the pressing need to put those newly-discovered* clips from The Power of the Daleks onto the disc...



*well, if you count being discovered 5 years ago 'new'

I occasionally see rereleases announced if they're putting them out under a new price point, or perhaps the distributor has surplus copies so they're "reintroducing" them perhaps for the benefit of new fans.

Perhaps get rid of that horrible cardboard fold out case and use a standard 3-disc case like the UK release (but a book version, not the disc-on-top-of-disc version)
