Has anyone heard of a SF book or series where the Earth disappears from the solar system and reappears in a different galaxy or another part of our galaxy?
It seems I saw or read such a book years ago, but cannot find a thing about it. Even tried the Library of Congress, though I may not have the correct title. I expect, if it exists, it's long out of print.
Also, this has nothing to do with the Doctor Who episode "The Stolen Earth".
