I'm kind of disappointed by the teleportation turn then...I was hoping Lost wouldn't go quite so sci-fi on us. I wish they had left out the whole time travel/bending aspect too, though I know most are enjoying it. Ah well.

I think the cat's out of the bag with Cerberus, especially after tonight's demonstration. ;)

Well ok, I do like Smokey (except for when it killed Eko). :p

I'm gonna go watch the Orchid orientation video now....don't think I've seen this before.

The scene started with a close up of his face, he opens his eyes and he's breathing really fast, he gets up, barfs a little, and looks around.

Doesn't sound like Trailways.
The scene also started with a brief disorienting "buzz" that lasted about a half a second and we saw Ben skake a bit, like something just happened that put him there. It was pretty cool.

The Orchid Video is also on the Season Three DVD.

Another great future story: Ben is going to kill Penny! Desmond will be mad!

So maybe Ben teleported from wherever that polar bear came from.

The doctor thing is weird. Then again, we've had radio transissions from the past before, right? Does that mean the island is in the future, relative to the outside world?

I don't get why Ben's still following the "rules" in the last scene. There must be some reason why he doesn't just shoot the bastard.

Because he wants Widmore feel the same pain Ben is feeling. Loss of a loved one is more painful than death.

Ah, I had forgotten what was going on with the doctor. We didn't see him dead yet! Who wants to bet it was Sayid that slit his throat? Wait, that's too obvious. It was Michael or the pilot!

No, I think it's more than that. Ben would've just killed him.
Perhaps, only time will tell.

Did anyone catch the DHARMA symbol on Ben's jacket? Looked like three concentric circles. I'm betting it's the Orchid's logo.

Another thing that was sad about Alex's death was that the last thing she heard was what Ben said about her. "She's not my daughter... She means nothing to me... I took her from a crazy woman..." Not good things to hear in your last moments.

Excellent. When the smoke monster (one of my favorite aspects of the show) came out I was blown away. Was anyone else a bit scared at that point? Whoa. Really effective scene.

Also, Ben was great in the flash forwards but wasn't he creepy as hell in London in that black coat?

Yeah, I thought about that too...that was sad. Alex's face looked extra hurt when she heard that. :(

Another thing I really liked about the closing scene tonight was the lighting...as he talked to Widmore, Ben's face was exactly half-light and half-dark...nice touch.

I also liked Ben using Dean Moriarty as his alias, given that I'm reading On the Road right now. :p

One other thing. When they were playing Risk Hurley said, "Australia is the key to everything."

I wonder if that's some sort of clue or just a coincidence. I'm betting the former since we've already seen that Australia is at least somewhat important.

Shh... You'll give the Aussies an ego boost. ;)

I caught that too, but dismissed it with the rest of the comic misleading of that scene.

How has Australia been important, other than the fact that it's where the plane took off from?
