Wow... I am so sorry to hear of this. Regretfully, I didn't have much interaction with him. Perhaps a couple of times in various threads. I'd read a number of his postings over the past couple of years and always thought rather highly of him. I loved his "Saving Ensign Mallory avatar". I'm very sorry he couldn't be saved. My sincere condolences...

I know it may sound stupid...but I'm very glad someone saved this avatar. It was my strongest memory of him. I remember staring at that thing for the longest time, looking at all the detailed work he put into it.

I remember that avatar, its awsome. if i remember he replaced the head shot of Malory with that.

This is so sad.

I used to be a regular in the TOS forum but up until a year or so ago, i havnt had the time to visit the bbs frequently, especially not in my old haunts.

I never knew him on a personal level, but we exchanged a few jokes here and there regarding the death of redshirts and so an so forth.

This is such a shame, he was fair and polite and above all was a great guy.

I still have some PMs he sent back to me ages ago just after the board software changed.

Mallory always seemed liek a good guy to me, and fair. Every time I come here, I expect to see his green name, just as surely as I see SPOOKED.


Maybe the smiley in his honor should bare his user name, like the techman one

I can't believe I read this so late. Mal was such a good guy. I can't believe he's gone. I'll miss him. This place won't be the same without him.

I was having a drink with a friend tonight and he mentioned this sad news.

Mal was TOS forum mod for most, if not all the years I've been visiting, and he always struck me as a hard working, family man who loved his TOS. He came across as a first class human being.

I remember him mentioning his family a few times, and to them I'd like to give my best wishes at this sad time.

Farewell, Mallory, you will be missed.

Oh shit, that sucks, I hadn't read this thread because I just thought the title just meant someone had left the board. Like the others have said he seemed like a decent guy and it seems like there's a paucity of those so it's sad to lose another.

He was a good Mod. Gave a me a well deserved warning once. ( The first and for the longest time the only one I had.) It was fun joking around with him "in character" as well. He'll be missed. My condolences to his family.
