Looking for some cool Time Travel movies...

Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure - "and we could leave the keys right... ...here!". best use of a time machine in a movie.

Some of these are time travel on a technicality, or not-quite time travel, or open to interpretation, or time travel is a relatively minor aspect, but still...

Terminator
Terminator 2
Superman
Donnie Darko
The Devil's Advocate
Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure
Scrooged
12 Monkeys
Timecop
Time Machine (the George Pal version)
Kate & Leopold
Deja Vu
The Jacket
Somewhere in Time
Flight of the Navigator
Freejack
Groundhog Day

There was also a TV movie/miniseries about time travel and the Bermuda Triangle that was fun in a shlocky sort of way (I want to say from the mid-90s or early-00s?). Also in the same schlocky vein, I remember a Japanese movie from the same era with (IIRC) transforming jumbo jets and some time-travelling ?cop from the future. And, obviously, Star Trek IV.

I would recommend two lesser-known movies that do some clever things with overlapping time loops, the spanish flick Time Crimes (Los Cronocrimenes) and Triangle. I really liked both of them a lot! They're somewhat similar to each other, but are otherwise pretty unique.

And if you're into really complex stuff, you should check out Primer.

And while there was no actual time-travel per se, there were some cool timey-wimey shenanigans in Frequency.

12 Monkeys was the first one that came to mind, but has already been mentioned, so I'll go with Source Code

Primer and Millennium. Oddly enough I found some good things to Retroactive.

Sliding Doors and Uncertainty have alternate histories, which is related.

Looper is coming up.

The trouble with Time Crimes is that the protagonist's actions are entirely driven by the needs of the screenwriter. Nothing in that film feels organic and nothing that the protagonist does seems like something an actual human being would do.

Somewhere in Time
The Time Machine 1960
Time Chasers (with Mystery Science Theater Commentary)
Primer (2004)

Well the "Philadelphia Experiment" was an ok film, not so much the second one.

But out of the ones that have been mentioned.

Time After Time would be near the top of my list
