Looking for a certain BTTF font

I'm curious (naturally) as to what the context of this pic is. I'm not sure what's wrong with the areas the circles denote.

Probably cropped from a scene showing the time machine's displays in one of the Back to the Future films.

I think what Robert was saying is that maybe the display font changed between films, and the circles are meant to show differences.

I don't think so...this is a single screencap, so it isn't comparing differences between two movies. Whoever put those circles there, and is asking What The Flux? is apparently having a problem with where the letter segments connect, and I'm simply not seeing what is wrong. If the OP could provide a link to the site the pic was taken from it'd put it into context.

I was looking for a font, from my online research, I cannot find it...maybe someone here can help. I am looking for a Superman font like the shield but with all the letters...like with the \S/ then it would have the other letters \A/ \M/ \Z/...etc.

I couldn't find such a Font, but this may help you out.

That's very, very depressing.

Tell me about it. I've seen each of the three movies dozens of times and I have never noticed (nor cared about) the inconsistencies of the computer display. And I thought Trek fans were bad...

No problem. They probably changed the shield design to avoid Copyright infringement....

Tell me about it. I've seen each of the three movies dozens of times and I have never noticed (nor cared about) the inconsistencies of the computer display. And I thought Trek fans were bad...

I've seen then a few times and noticed the differences -notably the month being displayed as a number rather than letters which just bugs me- but it didn't bug me to any severe enough degree to over-analyze every frame we see the display in to find all of the oddities.
